It was that same kind of air again. The kind of air that made Kaiser feel uneasy, like something bad was about to happen. He had experienced it many times before, possibly because it follows him. That, or the fishman simply causes trouble wherever he goes. Regardless of the cause, the air smelled bad. It smelled like trash, a rotting gag-inducing stench that permeated the nostrils and into the lungs. It made Kaiser mildly sick, but not enough to make him want to puke. He was a tiger shark after all, they eat trash if they can. Kaiser was still a Fishman however, and would never eat trash unless he truly needed to.

Only if he needed to.

Kaiser grabbed his stomach as he gazed at a pile of trash heaping up behind the Off The Top Inn. He felt the rumbling of his tummy as he tried to hold back his temptation to give into his wild side and let loose on what could be his next meal. He wanted to do it so bad, but in this very moment he needed to withhold and stay focused. Though such a thing would be tough considering he hadn't eaten in quite a while. Kaiser had no more money to spend and the fish around this particular island weren't very tasty he thought. He gave a heavy sigh and turned away from his potential meal. He didn't want to stoop that low. He didn't want to give in.

For now, Kaiser had a very important job. After teaming up with and going his separate ways with the Hoshi pirates not too long ago, Kaiser had found new faith in himself to try again. He wanted to build a brand new crew. Kaiser had made up his mind, and he decided that he wanted to become King of the Pirates. Though it will certainly not be an easy feat, he knew that he would be able to attain his goal. Anyone who stood in his way wouldn't go down easy, that he was sure of.

The newly inspired captain began walking through the streets. Though he was not too familiar with this island, having only gotten here a few days ago, he knew that he was in a small port town named Schleife, and he knew that the people here were all very nice, despite the fishman's often frightening appearance. Conveniently, no one in this town seemed to have caught wind that he was a wanted man, though even if they did it probably wouldn't matter. This island was not under the protection of the marines, a godsend for any weary pirate looking for temporary refuge. However, it doesn't mean that pirates can go wild here either. If the local crime squad catches wind of your misdeeds, you're gonna be wishing you were dealing with the marines. Every man and woman here has some form of military training to keep everyone safe, so trying to pick on anyone could end badly for the average Joe pickpocket. Though that didn't really scare Kaiser too much, what he was mostly scared of was everyone's hair. The people of this kingdom all have really good hair. Like, really good hair. Kaiser managed to ask a few people about it and it turns out there's something in the water. Such a concept intrigued Kaiser, but also led him to fear the idea of this "thing" seeping out into the ocean, and some Sea Gorilla gaining rock hard arm hair. The very thought caused Kaiser to shudder a bit.

The hungry fishman looked up from the road and watched as something strange was happening. There appeared to be a bit of a commotion going on. A bunch of people were crowding around something, Kaiser could hear gasps and murmurs, but he could not see what everyone was looking at. The fishman walked in closer to try and get a look, nudging his way through the crowd to get a peek. Once he finally managed to lay his eyes on the subject at hand however, what he saw wasn't pretty.

Kaiser looked on at the corpse of a mangled, bloody, beaten human. They were beaten severely, and were clearly dead. The National Guard as well as members of both the Black Fleet and Grimm Brotherhood. They were all trying to figure out what happened. Some members of the brotherhood were shouting that it couldn't have been any of the monsters on the island as none of them leave bite marks like this. The National Guard were spouting that there hasn't been crime like this for a while and that it must have been an outsider. Finally, the Black Fleet were talking about how these teeth marks were like those of a shark.

Kaiser suddenly became very tense. He was clearly a fishman, a Tiger Shark Fishman. If anyone caught wind of him being here this could get bad. At the moment he's currently the only real suspect. As the innocent fishman tried to sneak his way out of the crowd, some people began to give him weird looks, and some folk began to whisper and point.

This was getting worse. He needed to get out of here fast. Kaiser was looking around for some water to use before a hand grabbed him on the shoulder. It was one of the Black Fleet men. Kaiser turned around and looked at this man in his eyes for a solid 10 seconds. The fishman then peered towards the crowd, they were all looking at him with fear and anger in their eyes. Kaiser could feel a really bad moment coming on.

The Black Fleet man looked at Kaiser, and took out a pair of handcuffs. Everyone was extremely silent as all of this was happening. Kaiser was completely lost for words as he tried to think of a way out of this situation. He had no water, no clear escape option, and no way to prove that he didn't kill this person. "Sir...did you kill this man, Fredrick von Gelter?" The man inquired in a soft and collected voice, trying not to cause too much of a scene. Kaiser still had no answer, he didn't do it obviously but he was sure that no one would believe him. As the fishman looked around he could see more people steadily approaching the scene. The tension was so high that Kaiser could feel the sweat dripping down his forehead...

Infact, Kaiser could see that everyone was sweating pretty hard, despite the cool winds of Stronghair Island billowing through the streets, the sheer weight of seeing someone that these people perceived to be a murderer was so great to them, something that they must not see very often, was so intense that many of these people were sweating buckets. Kaiser looked at the Black Fleet Soldier again, and in a rush, pushed him away and commanded all of the sweat in the immediate area to come to him. Kaiser began to form a Grand Rail, to which the soldiers responded by pulling out their guns and swords and pointing them at Kaiser. The Grand Rail wasn't very big, but it was enough to get Kaiser out of here, albeit in a way that was pretty gross. "FISHMAN DID YOU KILL THIS MAN FREDRICK VON GELTER?" The same soldier spouted out as he aimed his rifle at Kaisers skull. Kaiser gave a confused look which melded in with anxiety. He looked at everyone and spouted out in a big dumb voice. "NO AND I'LL PROVE IT!" The fishman blurted out as he stepped into the rail, rocketing him westward. He could hear bullets being fired off in his general direction as he soared through the air. This was really bad. Kaiser didn't want to hurt any innocent people anymore. He didn't kill that man. He doesn't kill anyone anymore.

There were times like now that it was easy to remember just how relaxing it was to have a break. She was very diligent when it came to her research and it didn't matter what island she may have found herself on, she was the same no matter what. She was on a very important mission and she was determined to no return to her island until she found the very thing she was looking for. That also meant that she was usually locked up in the room she may be calling home at the time researching different methods and how different chemicals interact with her other.

No matter what island she went to she would find a place to stay, which was sometimes with whatever doctor she had found to teach her their very own methods. It was amazing at first how things could differ from island to island when it came to medicine. Her home was definitely behind on times especially when compared to other islands but that didn't mean that their way of medicine was any less important. No, there were plenty of doctors that she had ran into thus far that wanted to learn a bit about herbalism.

One of the clinics that she had found once she had reached the island of Stronghair had an individual who had wanted to learn as much as he could. She was still in the process of teaching him a few more things but he had also given her quite a few tips on how to properly make modern medicine, which was more help than she had received on the first island she had stopped at on her journey. He was the one who was currently keeping an eye on the young girl to make sure she didn't overwork herself. He may not have known her for any longer than a couple of weeks but he could already tell that she was the kind of person who overworked themselves and possibly quite often.

This was why she was out walking the streets of Schleife as she had stopped by the place she had been staying while on the island to tell her to go enjoy herself a bit. Even with the cool wind that was blowing, she couldn't help but notice that it was an enjoyable evening. Well, that was all up until a certain point, which was also incidentally at the same time a particularly hard wind blew and the petite girl hugged the jacket she had brought with her to herself.

It was just as she was recovering from the wind roughing her up that her ears caught the sound of guns as they were fired. Her first response to such a noise was panic since she was such a gentle soul it was hard for her to not worry about people getting hurt. What if someone had gotten hurt? She had to hurry to help with any causalities. It wasn't long before she was distracted from even that as a figure came soaring through the air. She didn't have much time to react and considering she wasn't much for fighting they weren't really the best at all anyway.

"Oh ow!" Hanako said with a squeak but she was quick to recover as she was almost always more concerned other people. "Oh! Are you alright? What is going on?"

Kaiser had bonked his head a bit on the way down. After launching himself away from the mob of accusers, the Fishman had begun to formulate on how he would even be able to prove his innocence. He hadn't been here too long, and the people here did not know who he was. If they had known of his piracy, they would not have asked if he killed that man or not, they would have flat out claimed that Kaiser did it...though its not like they don't think that right now anyway. Only a shark like himself could have made those bite marks, and to top it all off, Kaiser was so distraught at the situation that he ran away. If they're not sure that he did it, then they're totally sure.

Kaiser was completely lost, he didn't know what to do. If he went back into town now they would kill him on sight most likely. Everyone in this kingdom has the ability to fight. Even if they couldn't nearly stand a chance against him, their numbers might prove too much for Kaiser to handle. Not to mention that this was the grand line. There were sure to be powerful fighters here no matter what. If they caught wind of Kaiser's accusation...which they would, they would surely be all over the Fishman in minutes.

Kaiser sat up, he scraped his head a bit and some blood began to flow down from the side of his head. Seems like it would have been smart to try and land properly. Oh well, he'll get it next time.

The Maelstrom looked around. He was still in Schleife, but this part of town seemed to be less inhabited, he could only see a young girl not to far from him. She seemed to be a bit concerned actually. No doubt for him, considering he just fell from the sky. The Fishman heard as the young girl asked if he was alright. Kaiser didn't exactly know this girl, but it seemed that she cared about his health enough to ask how he was after falling from the sky. That's nice. Kaiser gave a thumbs up and stood up to face this girl.

She was nearly a foot shorter than him, and Kaiser was already small for a Fishman. She was also pretty cute, but in a babyish kind of way. Kaiser noticed something off about her however, a sort of strange quirk in the way she looked. Kaiser held up his hand, gesturing her not to move. The bewildered Fishman crept around to the girl's backside, to notice that there were in fact two large wings attached to her back. They were fluffy and curved downwards.

"You're a Sky-Islander...I've met people like you before." Kaiser remarked as his poked the girls wings a bit. He wiped some blood away from his head and walked back to stand in front of the girl. "As you can probably see, I'm a Fishman." Kaiser said as he pointed out some of his fishy features. His fin, his webbed hands, and his sharp teeth... to which Kaiser seemed to stop himself mid way and find himself at a loss for words. "I uh...I don't suppose you're aware of whats going on?" Kaiser's words slowed to a crawl, he didn't want to make another enemy after escaping the law, but perhaps this girl, who could understand his situation, being a strange person in a foreign land. "Listen, you don't know me...probably, but I really need a helping hand right now. I've been accused of murder...even though I swore I'd never kill again. The only problem is that all the evidence points to me." Kaiser didn't know what do with his hands. One false step and this girl might just run in terror at the sight of someone that she too would now consider to be a murderer. A crazy, bloodthirsty Fishman. That's how most people would see him now on this island. Maybe not her though.

"I have a plan to try and prove that I'm innocent. I can't do it alone however, I need someone to back me up, to stand by me while I make myself heard. Will you be that person? In return, I'll let you sail with me. I'm not just some nobody either. I'm pretty strong!" Kaiser boasted as he flexed his muscles. He really was pretty strong. After all, only the strongest make it into the Grand Line. "I made it here because I'm strong. If you managed to make it here, I imagine there must be something special about you too." Kaiser remarked at the girl from the sky. He held out his hand, not realizing that it was covered in his blood. "Well, whaddya say? I can take you places you'd never even dreamed of...or maybe somewhere that you need to be." Kaiser spoke softly, trying not to come off as scary, something that was pretty easy for him to do. He gave a soft smile, trying to not to show off his teeth too much.

Inside a castle, looking out on the sprawling hills of Marchen, there was a man. However this man was unlike any other that stood in this kingdom at this very moment. He was strong, yet gentle. Wise, yet curious. Righteous to a fault, and faithful to his kingdom and the safety of his people. General Gunther Langenberg. The pride of the army and self proclaimed strongest soldier to step foot on dry land. He prided himself on his peak physical condition, and mastery of the art of Life Return. His hair was his greatest weapon, and his defining feature. But it was not the hair on his head that he was praised for, for he had none. Gunther was praised for the hair on his body, and how he had managed to turn that into a weapon of righteousness. His countless victories against invaders and heathens who seek to bring ruin to the land of Marchen have earned him the rank of General, and the nickname "The Bald Eagle". Unlike any other who had come before him, he stood as a shining example of making the best of a bad situation, and always coming out on top against your enemies, and always doing it for the good of the people.

Gunther stood face to face with a piece of paper pinned to the wall. He ran his fingers through his beard and hummed as if to imply that he was thinking. For he was, after all, the great General Gunther. The Bald Eagle. It was his duty to see to it that his kingdom was safe. A new threat had already reached his ears, and his target had become ever more clear. "Kaiser Spine, a Fishman whom has garnered a fairly prestigious reputation as a pirate...the World Government put a bounty on his head as well...it looks as though he's here to try and bring ruin to us, by himself no less." The Bald Eagle laughed a hearty laugh and ripped the wanted poster of Kaiser down from the wall and ran it across his bare knuckles, the very act of which tore the paper to shreds like it had just been fed through a shredding machine. Gunther tossed the shreds of paper down to the ground and walked over to the door of his personal room. He had a military coat hanging by the door, one decorated with countless medals and ribbons. He adorned the jacket and walked out the door, by the time he was done with the Fishman, the only thing that would be left of him would be the trophy mounted on the General's wall. "If you think you can come here and kill my citizens then you surely don't know what it means to make enemies of people in high places."

On the shore of strong hair island, a figure would wash up along the sandy beach. This figure was currently shining a golden brown, yellow and covered in seaweed; feminine. She drowsily opened her coal, black eyes and slowly stood to reveal she was not an average being. Kazarashi Riri was a fishwoman, more particularly a seahorse fishwoman. Her hair was long, spiky, black, and had been shoulder length. Her mouth was a sealed hole at the moment and she would flex her mouth to appear like a normal human mouth seeing she was on land. She stood at the intimidating height of 5,8 and was visibly armed with a katana at her side. It was a thirty inch katana with a sheath made from brass and on its sheath was a red sea stallion with the Kanji for Perseverance on it. Her webbed hands and the fin on her lower back would also give away her fish heritage.

“Where am I? Where had that storm carried me?” The female seahorse inquired before then looking at herself before smiling brightly. “Seaweed for Miso Soup.” Grabbing each bit of seaweed vegetation, she would put it into a large waterproof pack which was filled with a variety of other ingredients from farther away. Now that she was clean, she tried to recall how she had got to this island and where this island was. After a while swimming looking for ingredients after a few days on her journey out of Fishman Island, a horrible storm had occurred carrying her. That storm was something fierce as it knocked her unconscious. Little did she know just how far the current carried her. “I should find myself somewhere to rest and get cooking. Perhaps sell a few of the ingredients I have too much of.”

However, she realized that this island might he one that harbored racist humans. It was a heavily worrying thought and so she began to panic. What if she were to be enslaved and taken to work as a miner? What if she were to be executed and shot on the spot? “That's so scary! I should probably just wait and find a way for me to hide what I look like before going in. Umm...until then I'll stay in a cave.” She thought it was a good plan, at least on the short term as she explored the perimeter. Fortunately there was a partially deep opening inside of a sea cliffside. Walking to the opening, she had cuffed her hands around her mouth. “Hello!? Hello?! Hello?! Hello?!” The echos would bounce off the cave walls showing it was fairly deep. Staying near the opening, Riri would gather wood for a camp fire so that she may cook a nice meal. Her appetite was kicking her as she was absolutely starving. The pack on her bag was comically large as who knew what kinds of things she was carrying in there. She deposited her bag against the wall of the cave before walking to a nearby banana tree. This was perfect as she could have wood and fruit!

Quickly drawing and slashing with her blade, she had sheathed it as the tree would fall apart into several logs. Catching each one in her arms as she comically darted around the place, all that remained of the tree was a stump. Surely that would be enough wood to last her the whole night and then some. Within another ten minutes, the Fishwoman had made a light fire outside of the cave with only white puffs of smoke rising in the air thanks to the banana leaves. Now it was time for her to cook something nice. After she fed herself, perhaps she would make a disguise out of banana leaves and head to the city to sell some excess bananas and seafood. She was a little bit lonely as she wished she had someone to talk to at the moment. Reaching into one of the pouches of the comically large bag, she pulled out a rather large pot which contained a couple of kitchen tools. This was followed by a cutting board and a very carefully packaged group of spices. She wasn't exactly a chef by profession nor a swordsman. She was a youth who wanted to explore the world and become a powerful pirate. Once her land was under protection of the great Whitebeard and so she aspired to become a powerful one like him. It was a dream that was far-fetched, but then again some people had grander dreams than hers. Her right eye raised as she wondered exactly what she would be cooking. A traditional fishman island dish sounded rather good at the moment because she was missing home already. 

Then again, who knows? Maybe she wasn't so far away from home than she thought.

Kaiser wiped his eyes thoroughly, he was sure that there was a Skypien girl here in front of him. Maybe the bonk to his head from before did more damage than he initially thought? The Fishman sat down for a moment, holding his head in his hands. What was even going on right now? Kaiser tried to collect himself but could only feel despair at his situation. He was being accused of murdering an innocent civilian. The Maelstrom stood up, looking around. The area around him was concealed by thick forests and brush. This could very well hide him for the time being, at least until he can find a way to prove his innocence.

The thicket and wilderness of the island seemed strange to Kaiser, most of his adventures had been on heavily populated and urban island, however the silence and abundance of nature here was extremely pleasant. It let him breath clean air, and made him feel like he wasn't being persecuted at very moment for who he was and what he's done...even though he was. The trees were tall, and looked strong, surely one of them would be able to give him a nice place to rest and heal his wounds for the coming day. As he looked around, Kaiser couldn't help but notice each tree had something about it that just made it not good enough. Not enough leaves, not tall enough, no sturdy branches. Too many bananas. Kaiser needed to do a double take at this one. Why was there a banana tree here of all places? The Fishman Captain adjusted his shirt and looked on at the tree in awe and confusion, though the rumbling of his stomach made him think less of the tree, and the fruit at the top of it, the bananas. However, before he could even think about trying to climb it, he heard the rustling of footsteps approaching from the other side of the tree. Quickly placing himself behind one of the more normal trees, he poked his head out to see someone cutting down the banana tree into logs with a quick stroke of their blade. It was quite impressive, but Kaiser was more focused on getting his hand on some of those bananas. He wanted to step out from his hiding spot and ask if this stranger would be willing to share, however he quickly realized that he had no idea who they were, it was too dark to see them. He couldn't risk them being a part of the army. Kaiser only had one option, to try and steal some bananas. He was in no position to fight, so this was his best option.

Through the dark of the night, Kaiser crept along, following the mysterious figure, he couldn't get a good look at this person as they were covered by an enormous backpack. His mission to follow this person led him to the beach, where they appeared to have set up a campfire near a small cave in the bay. This was certainly his chance.

Kaiser pulled in some water from the ocean nearby, he'd have those bananas in no time. He focused the water onto his foot, and started to spin the water rapidly. "Banana banana banana banana..." Kaiser began to speak louder and louder and he began running towards the mysterious person, and finally, launched himself forward with the pent up might from his foot. However he slowly began to realize that the person he had been following was a lot more like him that he had initially thought. Having finally gotten a good look at this person, this girl, he was sure that they were without a doubt a Fishwoman.

"H-Hey, you're just like me! We're Fish-" Kaiser's words were abruptly cut short as he crashed into the side of the cave, he could feel his consciousness fading, but he needed to make sure this person was real this time, and not just some damn hallucination like the Skypien girl before. With his final waking strength, Kaiser reached out for the Fishwoman, she appeared to be a Sea-Horse of some kind, with a sword, and...oh man...that smell. Kaiser lost all focus on the girl before passing out, the smell of fresh food made him realize just how hungry he was, and he fell asleep, his hunger only growing by the minute.

"Banana banana banana banana." That was the first thing she heard that was of human speech on this island. The woman turned her head to soon see a fishman...a tigershark fishman running at her with full strength. "H-Hey, you're just like me! We're Fish-" There was a crash into the side of the cave wall. He fell onto the ground unceremoniously before falling unconscious. "Oi! Daiboshka?!" No response other than snoring, but she saw soon enough that he was sleeping deeply. He was of fishman kin and so that made her wonder if there were more of her kind on the island. Perhaps she could ask the fellow when he woke up, but right now she felt compelled to help this poor soul. It looked as if he hadn't eaten in days. He probably hadn't and so she would make something delicious for the man to eat as well as for herself. She thought for a moment on what would be good to eat with a friend, and immediately her mind wandered to Hyaku Tako Ramen. Opening her ridiculously large bag, she had grasped a large octopus by its rounded head before pulling it out. It was nearly three feet and what was odd about this kind was that it had one hundred long legs. This would be the basis of the dish she was going to prepare. The multi armed ingredient had squirmed upon being grasped, showing it was still extremely fresh. She slapped it’s head against the side of the cave wall making it faint comically as it slid downward. Now to take out what else she could use. The seaweed would be excellent as some vegetation in this dish. Salt, dashida, and a bit of spicy pepper powder would be nice. Taking the humble sea cucumber would also be an excellent add. Finally, she had taken out the Koko Mackeral to add as to make a filling bit of meat inside this dish. It was around half a foot in length, but it was rather fat. It’s meat was known to be soft, succulent, and it was known to be filling.

All of these ingredients came from a part of the ocean away from this sea. While the fish had flopped and gasped once leaving her pack, but she had simply smacked its head also against the cave wall. Now was the time to prepare the meal. After venturing and finding a fresh source of water, she filled her pot halfway with fresh water. Using a knife, she had swiftly sliced the head of the fish off before hanging the fish to bleed out nearby her. Using her good kitchen knives, she would rapidly chop down on the octopus before making a large horizontal slice making it’s tentacles into long thin noodle like flesh the octopus was a pure white much like it's cousin the devilfish. There was no need for an ink sac removal seeing these octopi had none in their bodies. The large head was placed inside of the now boiling pot of water. It’s arms would contract, but then would suddenly go limp as the flesh was now fluid like noodles but still chewy. Slicing her seaweed into long and thin strands, she had added this to her pot. After this, she had added a fair bit of each spice she had taken. The salt was to add a tang to her dish. Dashida was to enhance the flavor and give it a pow. The pepper powder was to make the mouth focus on the flavor and warm the insides. The water at this point had turned into a reddish brown broth as she stirred it with a large wooden ladle. Taking her knives, she had sliced the meat of the Koko Mackeral neatly into a fillet and long strips before putting it inside of her soon to be completed dish. The head was then dropped in as it too would cook. Finally, she had reached inside to find...two metal bowls somewhere in the bag. Pouring a bowl for her friend as well as herself, she diced the sea cucumber putting it on the very top of the dish. It smelt amazing and surely the taste was even better. Giving her shark friend the head in his bowl, she had waved the bowl near his face to see if she could revive him. Metal chopsticks were also in the bowl. There was plenty for seconds, thirds, and even fourths for either of them. “Brother shark, please wake up. I’ve made this for you.”

She upon preparing this dish for the man would sit herself down on the smooth cave floor before cleaning her tools. The noodles would be chewy but yet soft at the same time and would taste like a flavorful explosion of tang and spice...and of home. This was a old time favorite of the fishmen and women of Fishman Island. The broth would be filling and yet making him want more most likely. The seahorse would begin to eat her own bowl with “noodles” being slurped down the endless hole she called her mouth. It was silent as she didn’t want to be the one to start any conversations. She would have prepared a fruit salad but she lacked any proper ingredients for that at the moment. She was eager to see his reaction to the meal. She didn't want to intrude or make him feel uncomfortable in any way, so perhaps he would start off light on the talking.

That smell. A kind of smelly smell. The smelly smell that smells... smelly.

Kaiser awoke to find himself lying down, head with yet another bump. He wasn't bleeding, but the pain was real. However that wasn't what he was focusing on at the moment, right now there were more important things in front of him. A young fishwoman, who looked like she was preparing something. Something delicious by the smell of it. Kaiser whiffed the smells of octopus, spices, and soupy waters. These blissful wafts reminded him of his eternal hunger. He had not eaten in days and he was starting to lose himself. It seems as though the girl had already prepared a bowl for him. He sat up, trying not to alarm her with his ferocious appetite, and began chowing down on the bowl of food. As took his first few bites, he quickly realized that this wasn't just any stew, this was Hyaku Tako Ramen. He remembered having this with Okami back on Fishman Island years ago. Kaiser glanced over at the girl, she was clearly like him, a Fishperson. What seemed to be more interesting however, was that she was both a swordsman, and a chef. "Hey, we're you born on Fishman Island? This is just like the stuff I used to get as a kid!" Kaiser remarked as he wolfed down his soup, looking around for a ladle to pour himself a second helping. He was pretty excited to finally have some food in his stomach again, but also that there was another Fishman with him. He hadn't seen one in...years actually. Kaiser took a moment to let that sink in, he hadn't seen any other Fishmen since his adventures with his old crew. Not since the misadventure that was Nuovo Romano. "Oh uh, by the way, my name's Kaiser Spine! I'm a pirate!" He snickered, giving a thumbs up. The Fishman brushed his hair aside with his hand and continued his introduction. "You've probably heard of me, I'm a hotshot Fishman rookie fresh out of the North Blue, the government wants to bring me in for a big price too, like, 82 million or something like that, pretty cool huh?"

Kaiser's speech was all truth, except for the 'fresh out of North Blue' part. He had actually been wandering around at the beginning of the Grand Line for some time now. Wallowing in a mixture of sorrow and remorse, a phase of which he had put behind him, and he was finally ready to start anew. As he began to eat another bowl of this scrumptious Hyaku Tako Ramen, the Maelstrom began to ponder about his current situation. This girl was right now, probably the only person on the island who didn't want to kill him. If she was a bounty hunter then she probably wouldn't have fed him and kept him safe. Maybe she could help him out in his time of need. Kaiser grabbed a tentacle from his bowl and used it to point at the Seahorse girl. "I have a proposition for you actually..." Kaiser spoke softly, trying to keep his cool for a moment as he popped the tentacle into his mouth. "I'm in a bit of a...a bind I guess is the right word." Kaiser stopped momentarily, deciding that he should probably get up to say something like this, it wasn't something you could just say while sitting down. The Fishman soared upwards onto his feet, sand digging between his toes. "Ok so, the short version is essentially this." He spoke quickly, trying to hold the girl's attention.

"I arrived here a little while ago, at that point I had already been starving several days, I tried catching some fish but the fish here are like...like super fish, I just wasn't able to keep up, and any I did manage to catch may as well have had fists they hit so hard." Kaiser took a deep breath as he stopped for a moment, and crawled back over to his bowl of ramen to slurp up a few more noodles before continuing.

"After all that I landed here, on Stronghair Island. I was hoping the locals here would be a bit more welcoming of a fishman like me but a bit of a problem arose. In my hungering stupor, I was approached by several people claiming that I murdered someone, a human man. I renounced all acts of killing years ago. I've killed before but I'm not a bad person anymore...well I steal fight and steal but that's beside the point. Anyway, I flew away, cause I can fly, sorta, not really, its more like really fast falling, but I can fall horizontally also. We'll do it sometime, its fun. Anyway, I need someone to help me prove I'm innocent. Whaddya say? Wanna help out a Fish brother? I can make it worth your while!" Kaiser collapsed to his knees, he had never talked so much so quickly in his life. He didn't want to take up too much of her time, and tried to lay it all out as quick as he could. Hopefully she would find it in her heart to help him out in his time of need. All he needed was someone to vouch for him, as well as maybe watch his back. He was strong, but he wasn't invincible. "Oh and uh, by the way. You cook a mean Hyaku Tako Ramen." The Maelstrom remarked with a toothy grin, plopping another yummy octo-bit into his jaws.

When turning to deliver the bowl of ramen, she didn’t need to wave the bowl in front of his face for him to suddenly sit up. He ate for a few moments as the fire light illuminated the partially dark cave entrance. It was then the tiger shark fishman had looked to her. By this time, Riri had sat on the inside to reach the cold rock floor as compared to a sandy one. Slowly taking a bite, she experienced an explosion of flavor rock her mouth with pleasures as she slowly slurped her noodles before taking a sip of broth. The strong looking man in front of her had then asked a question when he realized the dish she made was Hyaku Tako Ramen. “I am from Fishman Island. My name is Kazarashi Riri and I was swimming across the seas from home to look for fresh ingredients for a meal. When I traveled outward, a horrible storm hit and I was swept away before waking up on this island. I don’t really know where I am.” The shark in front of him proudly introduced himself as Kaiser Spine, stating he was a pirate who was coming in from the blues with a bounty at around 82,000,000. Now this is what Riri wanted to see more of on her travels. Her eyes had widened in surprise before she quickly slurped the rest of the noodles down followed by the hot and spicy broth. “Wow! You’re a pirate? I am looking to become one myself but...I don’t really know the first thing about pirating to be honest.”



She was an amateur in her life as she had barely been in her twenties. She previously worked at a restaurant owned by her mother, learning how to cook a few dishes before quickly discovering that it just wasn’t for her. She loved to cook, but she didn’t want to be tied down to a restaurant for the rest of her life. She wanted to explore the world, and seeing Fishman Island was under protection of the great pirate Whitebeard and was loved and respected, she aspired to become a pirate like him someday although she had no idea where to start out. She was fine with someone whom she considered kin to be eating as much as he liked. Riri wasn’t a big eater seeing she lived in a house where two parents had to feed 100 mouths every day. To be fair, they were a fairly wealthy family so it shouldn’t have been so difficult as compared to if they were impoverished. It was then that the seahorse woman was spoken to and offered a proposition of some sort?



The man explained his situation, and so far generally from looking at the man she didn’t sense any malicious intents. It seemed there were humans on this island, but not necessarily haters of fishmen. That was somewhat a relief for the feminine fish person. Kaiser as she came to know him, explained everything he could about how he was accused of murder. He said he could make it worth his while and Riri was definitely interested. “What will you offer me then Kaiser sir? I’m not much for money seeing I haven’t found much use for it. I’m not the most material person. Besides, it’s always good to help a fellow fish person in need. I’m glad you enjoy my Tako Ramen heh. I’m wondering though, how can I help you anyways? I don’t think people would trust me very well would they? If not, I guess I have to figure out what to do with these bananas. I was going to take some and sell them at the markets there. If not...maybe I can find some sugar on the island and make roasted bananas? Or maybe find a bag of ice laying around and make some sort of shaved ice. Hmm. Oh, and feel free to tell me about this island seeing I've never been here before!” The tentacles of the octopus were still wriggling somewhat showing just to what extent the freshness was. She was ever so glad he appreciated it. Nutritious and delicious meals were her motto.
