The Truthful Hearts.
Unlike its current state, the Truthful Hearts started as a Marine group that was to "repair" Egon's faith and long-trained trust in the Marines. However, with inspiration similar to what brought about the creation of PARASITE, Truthful Hearts became something more. Acting as a bridge between Marines and Revolutionaries, The Truthful Hearts Brigade (and later Division) will appear in a role that has so far been only seen in the form of Zephyr's group, the Neo-Marines. While they're obviously traitors in the eyes of the World Government, they will seek to carry out Justice to both Pirates and Marines alike.
While the group will not start as a Revolutionary group (it will initially be traitors/criminals), they'll steadily morph into something that would, ICly, be both an immense danger and a potential hazard in logical views. From a fledgling group of ex-Marines and Revolutionary insurgents, their influence will shift and focus on their ideals, ensuring justice and the truth come out in the practically covert reach of the World Government. While they'll lack the funding and equipment of the Marines, they'll have the organized training and drill tactics that most (if not all) standard Revolutionary Cells/Crews would lack.
Now with that explanation and intent listed, here's what this thread is for.
I've made plenty of groups in the past and all of them have either boomed from the start (such as GT with its original cast of 8 people), they've slow-burned or been re-lit from flickering groups (such as my reboot and redirection of the Rainbow Pirates to ensure the crew didn't pass away into legend), or they've gained a strong footing but still lack the members and situations to proceed (PARASITE is still waiting for it's second-in-command and the proper timing to come into fruition). This time, however, I'm only looking for one or two additional members. The reason for this is that Revolutionaries and Ex-Marines (true Ex-Marines and not just swabbies who got ticked off and fled) are a very rare commodity on site. To reflect the manner of the crew's mix between Revolutionary Might and Marine Numbers, the crew will consist of 4 OCs and 2 (at the most) supporting NPCs. Currently, 2 of the OCs and 1 of the supporting NPC slots are filled for the initial boot-up of the crew... and for this reason, we're looking to bring on people who are going to be active, ensure they're able to post, and those who truly want a unique experience.
While I can't promise anything, there are threads floating around that can give people ideas of what to expect: one such example would be the Sea-Flowers opening arc on Winchester Island (Part 1 and 2). While the Sea-Flowers are a group that function differently (they're designed to actually overthrow and influence islands through lengthy arcs), it's an idea of the sort of storytelling and detail that will go into designing NPCs and multi-part "epics" for the group. That being said...
If you are looking for a crew that will think for you, do not apply here. Arcs will be devised through everyone's input and effort. Anyone who fails to do this after joining will be removed. We're all here to contribute to the story (in my strong opinion) and it shouldn't be that anyone in a group sits back and lets someone else do all the work.
