Journal,
I am Ragnarok Blank, 6 years old and the only girl in my family. My cousins are all annoying. Father brought me to see a man called Thunder today, because I have turned 6. He gave you to me for my 6th birthday, telling me to write what happens everyday and how I feel, and has also asked me to call him Gramps. I have settled on Grandfather for now. Calling Gramps will make me sound like a big baby. Father says I mustn't be so weak.

Journal,
I kicked mycuzen cousin into a bush today. Father was very happy. He had the family chef make me my favourite Adzuki bean paste. Lau was crying, but he's stopped and has a big bruise now, and a twig poked into his eyelid. It didn't poke his eye. Aunt Yasha was very upset. She said I was too ruff rough. I asked father if I was bad. He said I was good, and that Lau got hurt because he was weaker than I am. He says Auntie Nura was just upset that a girl of Lau's age who was also smaller in size could beat him.
I wish everyone liked me more, even though I'm a girl.
I can be strong, too.

Journal,
I have had you for a week now. Grandfather wants to see you today. He says that he likes to read what I write because of my pretty handwriting. Maybe I will do a calligraphy piece for his birthday, to replace the one I did when I was four which Grandfather now hangs in his room. I think my handwriting now is much nicer. Also, I went to his room today, for the first time because Father gave me half a day off training. He praised me for my high kicks.
Entry #30
I have to train on my own for two weeks starting from today onwards, because Father was away for a tournament at another household's compound, which is out of Loguetown. But Grandfather's not letting me into the dojo today. He's not letting me touch the wooden man either, nor the bamboo poles.
In fact, he's not letting me do any training.
