The sun shone down warmly on the North Blue, a gentle breeze and a kind current carrying the Harbinger directly to it's destination of Shivre mountain. She hoped that the haul would be worth her time- it wasn't as much as she was originally told it would be, the captain was probably being overly generous with his estimates to get her on side. She was needed mostly when they'd escaped with their treasure, but the travel back to Shivre mountain had proved boring and uneventful. Still, she'd proved her worth and a pretty pay check wasn't something that she'd refuse on moral grounds.
"Captain! Vessel at 12 o'clock!" Came the call of the look out up in the crows nest.
"What is it?" The captain called back as he swung the door open out of his quarters, throwing his Captain's Jacket over his shoulder.
"The shadow looks like a Caravel sir! I can't make it out clearly though, it's too dark... I think... I think the boat's been painted black..."
The captain contemplated the situation. It couldn't be a marine ship then, which could only mean a pirate or civilian vessel.
"Is she flying colours?"
"A... A flag with a hand making a peace sign Captain."
The Captain let out a hearty chuckle. It sounded like an easy enough mark, and some extra beri to supplement his cash flow wasn't unwanted if he intended to make a good impression on the Rock Dragon bandits.
"ALL HANDS ON DECK. WE'VE GOT US SOME EASY PICKIN'S BOYS!" The captain yelled to a refrain of cheers as the ship's crew hustled to their stations and pushed for speed as the tried to make up distance between the two ships.
The voluptuous woman sighed and closed the large medical tome on herbs that she was reading, a little bit saddened, but mostly annoyed that the young fourteen year old cabin boy would no longer be fanning her while she sun baked on the open deck. She stood up and folded up the beach chair that she was lounging on, moving it out of the way so that the others could do their jobs uninterrupted. It had promised to be such a pleasant day, but at least she wouldn't be bored any more. She went inside to get dressed into something more fitting for surgery then her tight bikini swimmers, she wouldn't want her clothes damaged by squirting blood.
She returned to see the last of the crew swing themselves over to the other ship on a rope tied to the ships main sail. Even the cabin boy had followed along for a taste of adventure and she could hear the sound of metal on metal reverberate through the air.
For a ship with a peace sign as it's logo, they certainly weren't giving their valuables over very peacefully. She heard some shouting and decided to go watch the entertainment as she leaned against the Harbinger's railings.
