(I hope this post is okay... @__@)
The shopping center in Groove 30 of Sabaody Archipelago was bustling that day with people, the shop owners greatly pleased as they brought in good amounts of profit. Two woman in particular were doing their part in that regard. Both were dressed fairly simply and didn't stand out much from the crowd, thankfully. The only uniqueness in them were concealed for the most part and wouldn't get them noticed unless someone was really paying attention closely. Both of them were grateful for that. Already the one of the woman held several bags filled to the brim with merchandise, mostly clothing, that she just hadn't been able to resist getting. Not that she had to do much staving off; she had the money to spend.
Spotting a nearby bench, the two wordlessly sat down next to each other, seeming to both be enjoying the day at a fairly leisurely pace. From an outsider their life might have seemed completely ideal. It felt that way now, at least. The one with orange hair sighed gently, allowing her black eyes to close momentarily. She leaned backward and crossed her long and exposed legs, because she was wearing extremely short white shorts. Her outfit also consisted of a short-sleeved tight-fitting yellow shirt that had flower decorations down the front. The fabric covered up a tattoo of hers that otherwise would have revealed her to others as the 'Cat Burglar' Nami; a blue design that symbolized a pinwheel and mikans.
"Ne, Robin, I think we did really well today!" Nami had opened her eyes after a moment of pure relaxation and turned her head downward to look at her purchases proudly. Robin, who had shoulder length black hair and wore rather revealing purple clothing, nodded. If someone was looking closely, they would have seen a slight smile as she laughed almost inaudibly. The back of her hand was close to her mouth as though to cover the open expression of happiness up. "Of course, we could always do better." Nami turned to look at her friend, a smile tugging on her lips as she pointed to a store she had just so happened to spot that they hadn't yet gone in. Another clothing store, it looked very promising. "Shall we?" she questioned, pointing to it.
"Aa," was the completely positive response causing Nami instant joy. Out of all of the Straw Hat members in Nami's crew, Robin was the one that she felt the closest connection to. They were virtually inseparable once together on a mission, even though it was simply shopping, together. It was together that they stood up, and headed toward the store, instantly beginning to go through the items there. Mostly Nami held them up and tried to see how they would look on herself while Robin pointed out the pros and cons. They really did work like a perfect team. However, something drew the Map Maker's attention momentarily away from her browsing, catching something bizarre out of the corner of her eye.
A woman, a total stranger, had been walking along toward another store when, for some strange reason, her hand had simple stopped moving, causing her to be pulled backward somewhat. Though Nami wasn't close enough to hear, the woman's mouth opened in a small cry of surprise before she struggled against the force. Finally freeing herself, she tumbled backward and landed on her rump rather roughly on the ground, her bags flying to the ground in the process. "It... it couldn't be," Nami said softly in disbelief, her eyes widening considerably as she took a slight step further into the store reflexively.
