Who wants to solve a mystery?

So, my new detective character Archibald Baker is approved and ready to go and solve some crimes! All I need is a RP partner.

Preferably, your character is either neutral or good, he works best with Marines, but other allegiances are good too.
Archibald Baker prefers to solve his cases alone, and is quite good at it, so you probably won't be the star detective.
What Archibald isn't good at is fighting and human emotion, so if those are your characters strong points, I think it'll work pretty well.

So my main question is, what exactly is Archibald getting at? Does he randomly go to islands and solve random mysteries? And what sort of partner are you really looking for. Just someone who is strong and/or good with humans? Cuz i'm seeing a Sherlock and Watson form here lol

He most certainly is a Sherlock character, but I'm not necessarily seeking a Watson, just someone to RP with, doesn't need to be an official double-team if you know what I mean.
And yes, Baker basically arrives at an island, comes across a weird murder/theft/whatever, solves it, the bad guy is caught, if he's a threat then my RP partner can take him out and get some action.
I'm just looking for a person to RP with who doesn't need too big a plot, and can have fun just with characters and small situations.

I'm trying something different with this character, I just need someone else on board to try it out

I kind of want to get into this action. Although my question is, do you want a character who is like straight up strong. I have a good character who was a former boxer and is now a mechanic. Otherwise, I have another character idea of a person who does like random theories. Not like investigating or deducing but like, 'if i jump off this building onto that cabbage stand, will the stand break or will I fall?' Like a eccentric. Prolly give him a devil fruit.

Which would you prefer?

Either will do, but I think I would like for Baker to come across some DFs early on, give him an idea of how weird powers people can have, and how to spot them on people before they use them for combat
