A Mind Both Blank and Bright.
Is a mind empty but full of insight.
Not to be wasted because of it's potential to enlight'.
A mind waiting to find it's guiding light.
And when it does will soar as it takes flight.
That is a Mind Both Blank and Bright.
And that's what he was. An able mind having lost his purpose. A mind cradled by a capable body without a means to act. It's how he's been since the disbandment of The Creed. The still young now wanderer, stood arms rested on the railing of the front of the boat. The mild swaying of the boat from the gentle waves did it's job in rocking him back and forth. Drake had just gotten back from his and Anari's venture to Pirates Market and now they stayed idle, still docked at the eastern side of the island. Silver orbs looked out over the vast ocean as Drake contemplated his next moves.
Well, reviewed them.
His next moves were already made. Having agreed to allow Anari to 'lead', his future actions however unplanned, were not his to make.
He sighed.
Tired eyes and an even more tired mind thought everything through.
To follow... What did that mean?
At that point, the black object that laid in his breast pocket felt heavy as if his self-questioning gave it weight and with that weight, purpose.
He shifted.
His body motioning to allow Drake's metal clad hand to reach into his vest. In their he removed a small black book with a famous insignia.
The Cross.
He smirked. This absolute lawful book was ironically found back at the Pirate's Market and for some reason Drake decided to bring it with him. This book however famous, was foreign to him. Only the most common facts and knowledge of the bible was known to him. Everything else was undiscovered, though not for very long.
Drake took the book and held it in front of him. Turning the book around in order to catch a glimpse of the back, only to find the back to be as uniform as the front with little literature.
He smirked again. Hopefully this book would help Drake find himself... Or at least be a good read.
