Another beautiful morning in the South Blue. The sun had just risen from the beyond sea as is if it was berthed from it and spread waves of light across the surface of the water that allowed for you to see down a few hundred feet into the endless expanse. On the calm morning ocean sat a small blue and white sailboat that was wafting quietly among the waves. It belonged Gaius Delgado, the captain and only member of the Delgado Pirates.
The nineteen year old pirate sat on a lawn chair reading the news paper. Nothing interesting, just stuff about new pirates and bounties. Tiring of this task, Gaius got up, placed the paper on the chair, and headed over to the table upon which he had a few charts that varied in size from world maps to local area guides. Looking at it Gaius found himself lost. Very lost actually. He had no idea how to read these things and was quite unsure where in the world he was. He sighed. this fact only pointed out how much he needed a crew. most importantly a navigator. His stomach grumbled. And a cook.
After trying to deduce where he was for a few hours Giaus gave up and just chose a direction to go in at random. He decided to head west. He sailed on for a few days with not a drop of land in sight. On the fifth day of wandering, about to give up and just let the world have him. Gaius saw what looked like an island. He looked again this time through his telescope. IT was an island about a few hours sail away. He was saved.
After about three hours his ship reached the island. Having no idea what island it was, he decided to sail around it till he found a town. And if there was no town then he would just forage for supplies. eventually he came to the opposite side of the island and found a port town. He pulled in and after tying his ship in hopped off.
When he landed he was greeted by a group of men that varied in age from his age to about sixty by his guess. These men all pointed rifles at him. They only asked one question. "Marine?"
Gaius told them his story about how he came from karate island and his journey here. They told him this island was Saint Reia and that they had to take him into to verify him. As they walked into town he learned they where in the revolutionary army. Soon they reached a large building with a star on the top. On the star was written SHERIFF in dark black characters. There he met a man with a long white biers and a flower growing from his head. Gaius explained how he was a pirate and that he had just came in to get supplies and find some crew members. He was sent on his way.
It only took him about a day to get enough food for about a month and some water. He stayed their for a few days to look for crew members. His search didn't turn very good result. Actually he got no results at all.
Gaius entered the town bar again for the fourth night in a row. He had been here a for a week and still nothing. Gaius sat down at the bar and ordered a beer. After finishing it he found himself very depressed and decided to slam his down onto the counter. The life of a pirate was just great wasn't it.
