Aryana sat on a bar stool, covered in layers and layers of clothing, still shivering; a mug of fresh, hot brew in her hands. The warmth from the beverage allowed feeling back in her numbing fingers. She cursed the island. How she wished to be upon a beach in her two-piece, the thought was enveloped in a bubble above her head and for a moment she almost smiled before sighing loudly. The bar wasn’t too busy tonight but it wasn’t quite either. A couple argued in the corner over the planning of a wedding. Two young men were contemplating whether or not to enlist for the marines this year. A group of rowdy looking marines were sat around two tables playing a wild game of poker. They didn’t look much different to the pirates Aryana saw around apart from the marine marking on their uniform. Aryana was not impressed at all. Perhaps it was not the wisest move in coming here but news had spread fast about a new bounty and Aryana wanted to be the first to get her hands on it. “Kai-Ser Spi-Ne… Captain of the Maelstrom Pirates… Hmmm… Boy do they come up with redonkulous names these days.” Aryana commented as she placed the bounty poster on the bar ledge in front of her besides the mug she had just put down. She used her index finger to trace out the figures on the bounty. “Twenty Five large ones… That is one hefty price on one ugly looking guy.” Aryana added, talking to herself as she took the cup of coffee to her mouth, taking a small sip before dropping it back onto the bar table. The bubbling liquid left a burn at the front of her tongue. “Ouch… Serves me right for being such a bitch… Shouldn’t have called him ugly, just because he’s a fish-man... Sorry god of the fishes. Forgive me for being such a bitch. But this douche-bag is a pirate and he’s got a bounty on his head. So I’m going to have to take him out; the ugly bastard!” Aryana was in a, beyond the usual, bitchy mood. She blamed the cold. Everybody else blamed her period but it didn’t really matter. All the men in the bar had already tried making conversation with her, having been attracted by her lush purple hair but she had blown them all off. She hadn’t been drunk enough to get with any of them. Perhaps it was time to let herself go for the night. “Oi, bar-boy… Your coffee burnt my tongue. How about you hit me with something refreshing to cool it down but have it burn my throat. How about some Moonshine you son-of-a-bitch!” The bar man granted her request, handing her a bottle from the cabinet behind him. Snatching the bottle out of his hands, she snapped back the top and devoured the entire contents down in a one go. She was hot. She was cool. She was feisty… Not to mention, Aryana was now higher than the clouds. Her head spun in circles and her mood was blue, purple and orange. One moment she was down and the next moment she was out of her seat and had her arms around the guy who had been sitting next to her; tongue deep down his throat. “So tell me you bastard?” She said, pulling out to get a breath of air, “You heard of Kaiser Spine? The fish-pirate’s got a bounty on his head and I’m gonna take him down. So either you tell me where that fucker is or I’m going to kiss you till you suffocate.” Only a fool was going to pass up on an offer like that. The man shrugged his shoulders indicating he didn’t know whilst licking his lips, anticipating a kiss. Instead, he got a mouthful of vomit as Aryana released the contents of her stomach right back out. “Thanks for that fuck-face… Have a nice day.” Aryana turned on her heel and stumbled her way toward the exit door. Not realising she bumped into another fierce lady.

"Are you ok?"

Ok?! To ask if she was Ok was downright laughable at this point of time and the long black haired girl did just that suffocating the person in front of her with the smell of alcohol and something retched, infiltrating the air with her condescending laughter. Instantly, the eyes of those passing on the street sifted to them, their minds craving the drama of what was going down. The person who had originally asked the question backed away with a grimace shifting his own eyes to see the people staring. A deep flush appeared on his face and he quickly moved away from the girl in the area feeling thoroughly embarassed. The young girl on the otherhand stayed put not noticing even the strongest of gazes.

For too long, she was left on this island. After traveling with a companion for years now, he had abandoned her here at this island without a word giving her empty promises of coming back. To think that she had a deep crush on the man... Now its been four months and there has been no sign of him. The man who had given her a family and someone to rely on has left her alone. Another person to add to the list of disappointments. Therefore, despite hating the taste of alcohol, there hasn't been one day where she hasn't ingested the liquid in extreme amounts. After time, she realized the reason for her companions likeness to the substance and now, she couldn't stop.

At last, she finished laughing after going at it for five minutes straight but her lungs got the best of her. She glanced around, her gaze as demeaning as ever as she looked at the others around her. One could even say that it was like she was towering over them even though she was sitting on the ground. Then, with a small chuckle, she pushed herself to stand. The feet encased in black boots wavered a bit, her hands groping the brick of the wall she was leaning her back against to help her up and the uncomfortable sound of rock scratching her leather sheathes and jacket entered her mind. She had to admit, this place was freezing but after all that alcohol her body has been hot. The flush firmly planted on her cheeks should be proof of that.

A hand brushed through her grimy hair as she finally stood tall and she looked around, her eyes scouring the buildings looking straight through the people even if many weren't there. After all, it was night time and past midnight at that. Not many people except the huge partiers or big time drinkers did that. A glint entered her tired eyes the moment she spotted a bar. Hey, she may have been sitting here for hours on end but she wasn't exactly concerned with her surroundings too involved in emptying her stomach contents beside her. Its a wonder that her clothes weren't dirtied by the act but her mouth still carried the foul taste that was for sure.

Even though she was unsteady, she surely made it to the other side of the road and was close to entering into the bar when suddenly a woman bumped into her. She had no balance to begin with and all it took was the sudden bump of the other to cause her to topple to the ground, right onto her butt. For a moment, she was simply shocked by the event, her intoxicated mind making it hard to understand but it didn't take long until her surprised demeanor snapped. Ignoring the sore rump from the fall, she quickly moved to stand up, wavering as she did so and fixed the other woman with a hard stink eye.

"Who do you think you are?!" She practically screamed, pointing at her accussingly. "Do you think that just because you are all that you get to bump into people as you wish?! What a despicable little brat you are. You need to face the consequences of your actions." Her mouth was talking faster than she could think but her mind wanted to blame. She only wanted to blame. Before she could stop herself, she pulled one of her swords from the many sheathes placed on her belt and pointed it at the other woman wasting no time in placing the blade by her throat after backing up so as to not kill the person fast. She also wanted to play with the woman. Tonight, she will be her entertainment.

"Who do you think you are?!Do you think that just because you are all that you get to bump into people as you wish?! What a despicable little brat you are. You need to face the consequences of your actions."

Where in the world had that come from? There was a tad moment of confusion before Aryana realised she was on the floor and had fallen into somebody else. The question now was, to apologize or fuel the situation on.

Aryana looked up at her accuser, not a damn given on her face. The girl before her seemed to have over-reacted. In fact, she was fuming in anger to the point Aryana feared for her health. However this was the perfect opportunity to have some fun. The night had been far too boring to let such an opportunity to pass. The ranger examined the girl that stood over her. From the way she carried herself to the weapons stocked at her disposal. There was little doubting it, this girl wasn’t someone you would want to rub off the wrong way. But neither was Aryana.

It took Aryana a moment to process the questions asked of her but thinking up replies for them was pretty easy. “Who do I think I am?” Aryana repeated the question, pretending to ponder before responding with a cocky, “Well... Sometimes I think I’m an Angel that God blessed this world with. Other times I reckon I’m the bitch Satan unleashed upon it. In reality, I’m Aryana Demont, the Demonic Angel.”

The purple haired girl paused a moment before continuing to rile her foe on. “Considering I’m so much better than everybody else here… Yeah, I sure can bump into people as I wish... However I will agree with you, a despicable brat I am, thanks for the compliment… You’re not far off yourself.”
[/color] Aryana added, smirking to herself whilst doing so. It was bound to add oil to the already burning fire before her. As expected, the girl pulled out a blade from her buckle and placed it at Aryana’s neck. With a single look, Aryana could tell she was an able fighter and could handle the blade but no able fighter would take the life of somebody unarmed. This was a gamble she would have to take. After all, death was always a heartbeat away so why worry about something so volatile.

“So this consequence of yours… Does it involve slitting my throat?”[/color] Aryana asked, showing little concern or fear. “How about we settle this some other way? I don’t think I can battle you in my current state. My arrows would be flying off at tangents that don’t even exist. What do you say? Up for a challenge? If you win, you can own me for the night. And if I win, the same applies to you?”[/color] Aryana twisted her mouth to the right, scrunching up her lips and raising one eye-brow. Nobody with an ounce of pride would be able to resist such a challenge. Not when you could beat a boastful bitch like her. The poison arrow was confident; this one was in the bag. The moment the sword was removed, Aryana would be waiting to get back to her feet, although the floor had begun to seem quite comfortable now.

“So what do you say? Not afraid of a little competition are we?”[/color] Aryana gave the final taunt. This would surely swing things in her favour. Aryana was certain.

Glazed over aqua blue eyes with their sense of pride and determination did their best to translate the dark blob before her into an actual mosaic of features so that she could forever remember the day she defeated this woman! However, thats all she could understand from the person before her thanks to their voice and their hair and well... her voice. There was really no other defining attribute she could associate with the gal unless this was a feminine male but no such thought managed to seep into her brain for many reasons. One, she was drunk to the point that one more drink would easily send her over the edge and take her to the realm of blackouts and passouts. Collaborating thoughts that excelled her primitive instincts were near impossible. And two, Abigail being the great woman that she was could never percieve or believe the idea that a man could ever not be a man and a woman could ever not be a woman. So yea, this thought did not make it into her brain.

Instead, the crude pitiful idea that she could actually manage to defeat the woman before her did. As it did, she imagined herself, a heroine, looking down upon this scoundraling witch with eyes that could kill and a stance that could intimidate anyone that stood before her with a blade more than ready to strike. Little did she know that the works of her imagination was simply that. In reality, her legs shook with force and her torso wavered left and right like a conjured cobra with no rhythm. Her eyes that she was so certain had striked into the opponents soul were having great difficulty simply staying open on their own accord and her sword shook as her arm was losing its great strength. Luckily, the last was barely noticeable as the shaking was minuscule enough to not even knick the girl before her with a harmless scratch. However, it was no doubt a result of her drunken state.

When the lady began to speak, Abigail did indeed try to listen and listen well but the words only fell on deaf ears. Her brain was so tired that it didn't even dare give any effort in understanding the girl and to be truthful, Abigail would not argue much with it. If her brain decided to ignore it then so be it, not like she was going to remember much of it anyways in her current state but then her brain perked and rushed to translate the part she wanted dearly.


"settle....other way? ...I can battle...arrows...exist...for a challenge?...you win...me for the night...the same applies to you?”

All the dialogue the scoundral seemed to say was all lost save a few fragments here and there and so far she was quite enjoying where this was going. An ugly smile spread on her face, her tired eyes only making the whole appearance all the more eerie and many men from inside could be seen grimacing from the sight but at the same time curiosity took hold of many as they wondered who would win the battle.

“So what do you say? Not afraid of a little competition are we?"

The last words were definitely not missed and in an instant the bar had tripled the sound barrier that was dulling this fine night as they emptied their pockets into a pile betting on who would be coming back the champion! Half betted on the fine seductress but her recent actions that laid stinking on the floor kept her from being the popular vote. On the other hand, the drunken lady seemed ugly in her current state but her eyes and hands showed experience. In the end, the amount of money in the pile wagering the winner was equal. The bar tender grinning from ear to ear placed the bucket of cash behind the counter, stealing enough dollars to earn him a fresh smelling bar by morning but nothing too much that would be missed by the angry drunkards.

"Of course I'mma not scared!!!! How could I ever be scared of a mangled mutt like you? Your assets aren't even pleasing to the eyes." With this, Abigail let loose a cackling laugh lowering her sword in the process without even realizing as much. Before she knew it, the sword was at her side and Abigail had a smug expression on her face as she peered into the girls eyes.

"Bring it."

She finished, backing up from the lady and getting into a ready stance. Her mind had excluded much of the particulars of their earlier one sided conversation so when the opponent moved to leave elsewhere with calm confidence, Abigail was thoroughly confused shouting angry curse words into thin air before at last lankily running after the girl and slowing down behind them. Slowly, she was waking from her deep intoxication but nothing changed from her movement nor her speed as she continued to follow willingly letting out a few curses here and there directed at no one in particular.

(Anything that is wrong, amount it to her intoxication. Drunkards see differently than what actually is happening)

The cocky ranger smiled to herself, brushing off her clothing as she lifted her body of the mucky ground. The smirk on her face was one of triumph. The prey had fallen for the bait, taking it as a dare. Little did this drunken bitch know what she was getting into? This was a trap. Not any old trap but a ranger’s snare. Aryana had planned this escape carefully and the plan would allow her to gain a little helper in her hunt for a bigger target.

“So you think you can defeat me huh?” [/color]Aryana asked her opponent, raising an eyebrow as she directly challenged the feisty girl before her. “Well, the task is simple and will contest the endurance of us two women. Who can last longer? Considering our current states, this should be a real treat for all the guys in this bar.” [/color]The bounty hunter explained as she whispered something into the ear of the bar-maid. “I challenge you to a drinking contest! You game?”[/color] Aryana taunted her, knowing well the girl would struggle in her current condition.

With a flaunt in her step, the ditzy ranger took her spot back at the bar stool as all eyes turned upon the two overly drunk, yet amazingly beautiful girls. “Oi, bar-bitch! I’m back and I got a friend.” [/color]Aryana rudely addressed the man who would be supplying the drinks for the contest. “Why don’t you set up an unlimited supply of drinks whilst the two of us drink our livers black,”[/color] she asked him in a sweet voice but a demanding tone. The bar-man scrunched the muscle in his forehead with annoyance but he wasn’t stupid enough to lose any potential intake of money or make enemies of such a feisty woman. As per request, the drinks were rolled out in numbers.

The bounty hunter chugged back the first shot in front of her and slammed the glass back against the wood of the table. “Your turn missy… Don’t die out on me too soon.” [/color]Death-Kiss Demont taunted the girl once again; a cheeky smile erupting at her lips. She awaited her prey to step both feet in the trap. It was certain she was in no shape to compete and could drop any moment. That was when the sharpshooter would attain her revenge.
