Storm apon the Horizon, The Lily in falls!!!

"The Lily of the Valley" shook violently under the fierce wind of the Typhoon, her bow bending and cracking as the waves and sky beat mercisly upon her. Ahuvya stood at the wheel of the ship, Muscles Spasming as they can into contact with the Ocean spray, his eyes locked on the distant form of Gecko Island, he knew he would have to reach it's shores if he were to survive this storm. Over the rushing of the water, and the howl of the Sky, Ahuvya heard the sound that he had been dreading, the sound of the haul spliting. Using the Rope that he had gather before the Storm, and tied the wheel of the Ship to Point towards the Island, then gathering his things...Ahuvya jumped into the Waves of death.

When Ahuvya awoke, the Sun beat down upon his head relentlessly, his coat would protect him from the worst of it, but his face would be red and burning before he was able to get to shelter. And there was another problem, with his cloths soaked with the strength draining seawater, he had not been able to move for some time, we would have to wait to dry out before he could go look for whatever remaind of "The Lily of the Valley" and the rest of his Supplys. As Ahuvya lay in the blazing sand, contemplating these things, he heard the sound of approaching Footsteps.

"PIRATES!" Houdini yelled as he ran down the beach with his hands trailing behind him. His eyes were wide with fear and his tattered magicians cape fluttered in the wind as he ran as fast as he could across the sand.
"PIRATES! HERE NOW! THE CHILDREN SAID SO!" Houdini yelled as he ran faster down the beach. He clutched to his top hat with one hand to prevent it from being blown off in the rush.

Houdini had landed on Gecko island only yesterday and so far had managed to restrain himself from performing tricks to the village until he had got a decent nights sleep and a good meal.
Unfortunately Houdini was not aware of Gecko islands daily tradition in which three children, all of which used to be part of 'Usops band of pirates', would run through the village shouting about an oncoming pirate threat that didn't exist.
And Houdini being the simple idiot he was, instantly got caught up in the lie and began panicking and running about the island like a mad man.

"PIRATES! They'll have my gold and steal my head!" Houdini yelled before grinding to a sudden halt as he considered what he had just said, "Wait hang on...thats supposed to be 'have my head and steal my gold'"
"And now that I think about it, since when have I ever been afraid of pirates?" Houdin pondered before turning in the direction he had just come from. It would take him at least another five seconds to realise that he had just ran a complete circle around Ahuvya's washed up body.

Ahuvya watched in a stooper as the Strange Man came screaming up the beach, and could not help but chuckle. But as the man sounded his warning, Ahuvia almost panicked, with all of the rare Items he used in his Blacksmithing work stored in "The Lily of the Valley", she would make a prime target for any roving bands of thieves that might wander upon her wreakage, and in his Weakened state, he would not be able to do anything to stop them. Then he Remebered the Storm last night, or was it the night before? he had no idea how long he had been out, but with the seas as they were, no Pirate would risk their ship for a simple raid, but he had to make sure. With the remaining strength he could muster under the body numbing effect of the seawater, Ahuvya lifted himself up and spoke "S-Sir, could I ask a Favor of you? the water, I need to get out of the Wat...", till he finally collapsed from exhaustion and the waters effects. As he slipped into the Embrace of the darkness, a image flashed before his mind, one of a Island surrounded by a dark Abyss and of a Angel with a burning white sword.

Houdini froze on the spot as he realised he was no longer alone. As he turned round to locate the source of the voice he jumped on the spot as he realised that a man was lieing within only a metre of him and he hadn't notice.

He was silent for a moment as he stared at the man before finally registering what the man was saying.

Now a normal person would have immediately gone with their gut and dragged the man out of the water and onto the beach, or if they were heartless would have left the man to drown in the shallow sea water.
Houdini however was neither normal nor heartless. Instead he was something that could be looked on as much worse; he was an unpredictable idiot.

"Then sir you are in luck!" Houdini yelled his sudden moment of cauciousness shattering in an instant as he pulled off his tattered magicians cape and held it up high.

This was something that was very normal for Houdini, it didn't matter whether he was met a marine admiral, a family of five or a muderous pirate, Houdini would always feel obliged to perform a magic trick to them before he did anything else.

"Behold sir" Houdini spoke as he waved the cape in the air, not realising that his audience was currently unconcious, "This is an ordinary magicians cape, but through the power of magic I will now make your body levitate out of that water your face down in!"

He twirled the cape over his head a few times before laying it over the strangers body, "Now...one! Two! Three! Cadabra Abra!"

The strangers body did not move and for a while Houdini stood staring at it expectantly like something magical would happen any second. It was unfortunate that Houdini had not grasped the concept that the trick he was trying to do lacked not only the props but the thought process that went into actually pulling the trick off.

As the Man proformed his trick, Ahuvya Dreamed. It was a Dream that he had several times before, a Dream that haunted his ever waking thought....

He dreamed of a Island in the middle of a massive whirlpool, and of a Angel with a pure white sword, it's blade glowing with white fire. The Angel looked on to the Island with sorrowful eye and spoke a Simple Phrase,

Beyond the Crystal Sea, A Gaint Sleeps, and from his hands the world will turn, wither to Light or Darkness, only the Lord knows. The Sumbering Gaint will awaken at the Sound of The Foundation's Key.

At that, the most Beautiful song he had ever heard swepted through his mind, and he was surprised to find that he was crying. As the Song played, the Angel lifted up the white blade high above his head, and sang out a long note, as the Island Below begain to sing out the same melody that floated in the air, but lower in tone. It was then that Ahuvya relized that the song was coming from the Blade itself. Suddenly, the Sky above them opened up and a streak of blue Lightning struck the Blade, causing it to Crack and twist, as the Beautiful song turned into one of Pain and Dissonance. Finally the Blade Shattered, and the Pieces flew off into the sky, all but one that hovered before the Angel, a glowing white speck of fire. With a Gental touch, the speck shot forward towards the Island, then with it touched ground, the white Light suddenly exspaned outward, engulfing the Island, the Angel, and Himself. Before his mind faded from the Dream, he heard the Angel speak again,

Earth has lost her melody, it's Song it sings no more, it's words lost in the winds of a Stagnant World. Gather my Song, and awake the Giant, that the World might once again Turn.

When Ahuvya awoke, he found that much of his Strength had returned. While the Man's cloak had not levitated him out of the waters as the Strange man had wished, it had shielded Ahuvya from the water long enough for his body to recover. When Ahuvya stood and removed the Cloak, he was surprised to find that the Strange Man was still standing there, staring at the cloak with anticipation, as if he expected it to even then grab Ahuvya and float him to safety. Even more surprising, as Ahuvya looked up at the sky, he was shocked to find that several hours had passed. Suppressing the laughter that welled up inside him, Ahuvya held out his hand to the Strange Man and said "Thank you fro your help sir, I am Ahuvya Occasus of Saint Reia, and what might I call the man whom saved my Life?"

Houdini's body was in great discomfort after standing in one spot for hours and hours as he waited for the trick to work. If the stranger were to have died Houdini would probably have waited for days more until the ocean tide came in and washed it away.
When the stranger finally regained conciousness he remained still and silent and watched as the man got to feet and handed him his cape.

"Thank you for your help sir, I am Ahuvya Occasus of Saint Reia, and what might I call the man whom saved my Life?"

Houdini stared at him for a few seconds, his face blank and eyes wide as he contemplated what happened. Then he slowly took the cape from him, turned on the spot, sank to his knees and then began drawing patterns in the sand with a gloomy look on his face.

"You..." Houdini spoke as a wave of depression swept over him, "...you should have levitated" He spoke before breathing in deeply and sighing heavily as he drew a swirl in the sand with his index finger, "I'm Houdini the great magician... how do you do? Whats your name? Blah blah blah..."

Patting himself down, Ahuvya let out a Frustrated sigh, then bending down to the sand, he begain to sift through it, as he did so he said "Well it is very nice to Meet to Mr. Houdini, God knows how long I would have layed there if you had not happened upon me" . Then with a smile of a child that had found a lost toy, Ahuvya pulled out of the Sand several Plastic capsules and a three foot long Sword hilt. brushing of the sand of the capsules, and placing them in his coat, Ahuvya held the hilt up to the Sunlight, Smiling. Then in a sudden, downward slash, a river of Metal flowed out of the Hilt forming into a eight foot blade of rippling Liquid Metal, before being pulled back into the hilt. With a Smile, Ahuvya said "Thank God it's all still there, Metal World is extremely rare in these parts, it would have been more than a little pain to find more", then placing the hilt on the belt of his coat, he Scanned the coastline with solemn eyes. Turning to Houdini, Ahuvya said with a smile, "I hate to impose again Mr. Houdini, but I seem to have lost my Ship, they say that two heads are better that one, would you mind accompanying me in my search?"

"Hmmmm? Your boat?" Houdini spoke only half listening to what he was saying as he turned his head to face him. His depression was still active and weighing down every single thought he had with gloomyness.

"And just call me Houdini" Houdini spoke as he got to his feet and began rolling up his cape to squeeze the salt water out of it, "Or better yet call me; The Great Magician Houdini and tell everyone you meet that you met me"

Houdini continued to ring out the cape before pulling it around his neck again. He could feel his joints still aching from standing in one place for so long, but the idea of his trick not working seemed to be much more important than cramps.

"How did you loose your boat?" Houdini asked as he turned to Ahuvya, "Seems pretty careless to loose a boat in broad daylight, unless you were sailing it in the storm last night, that thing was deadly no boat could survive tha-"

Houdini paused as he once again thought over what he had said. Something was bothering him and he couldn't quite place his finger on it. Then after a minute or two it suddenly clicked, "WAIT......TWO HEADS ARE BETTER THAN ONE!"

Houdini had clearly missed the point entirely.

Sabin, a bounty hunter who had traveled to Gecko Island to visit on his free time. He had not really cared who was there but he liked their food. He was a martial artist who used two carbon tonfa's. He was a master at them and was quite good at it. He had been heading for the beach after the idiot who had been screaming pirates thoughout the town. He hated people like that. He was ready to bust his face in just for annoying him. Sabin was someone who got annoyed easily and would hurt anyone who would do so. He had gotten to the place where the fake magician had stopped and saw a man laying in the water. Sabin sat down and watched them both for the amount of time the man layed on the ground. Once he got up and actually thanked the magician sabin made his way down. He stopped about 6 feet away from the magician and the man who he had thought drowned. "Hey idiot, what do you think you were doing screaming Pirates throughout the town. Do you know how many people have been talking about how annoying you are, especially because you were annoying me the most." Sabin said as he started to squeeze his tonfa's tighter.
