''I understand....but while we are here...Could we simply discuss our...ideas about morality and what i've thought...in here? If i'm not...deemed satisfactory...you may..kill me..''
The director’s cigarette burned furiously as his drag was halted mid-breath by the bold statement proposed to him. In the daunting silence he even missed the somewhat sincere while noticeably reluctant acknowledge of his title when Neyruk has muttered ‘sir’ a bit more sullenly than most would in his position. Not that the man had noticed as two fingers carefully snatched the stick from his mouth, smoke trailing from his glowing orange head, “Sure, let’s talk about morality if you want to,” the director said faintly with downcast eyes. That feeling, the reminiscing of the talks he’d shared with a friend of old made him shiver though he as he turned his back to the dangling recruit, one never might have guessed he was feeling a bit on edge.
It’s just a talk, Natai’s given me more lip than he has…and she can be far more convincing. the dark haired commissioner reflected, but once his bottom had successfully nestled into his seat he was all cold, calculated suavity wrapped in cynical disbelief once again. Outwardly his onyx colored eyes glittered with the small amount of light that seeped into the pit. Day must be growing short up there…those two had better not do anything too rash. By those two, he meant ‘Mae’ and ‘Fae’…the two female ninja who served as his vanguard on the island and might have had he not stumbled upon a willing Natai Praxai to join the Cipher Pol 9 unit. Coolly his eyes rose to meet Neyruk as silence served as the judge of this small encounter,
“So…” he began, voice sounding like doom as it echoed from the slippery, rock wall’s surface, “…what about morality do you want to discuss? I certainly don’t think that morality and justice go hand in hand, but I’m inclined to think that you’re of a different opinion. So talk, ramble, enjoy…” the director casually addressed his righteous thrall. The set of his shoulders said he was more than sure of himself…but was he?
“Just remember you set the stakes…and if I find your find your argument unsatisfactory, I’ll have you killed.”
