(OOC: Hey Alejandro-san, Jack is sitting at M.A.P’s table just so you know. So he’s talking to you and the people in the shadows are the Fishmen crew. I figured this is your chance to earn a bounty)
Back in South Blue once again for what seemed to be the thousandth time since Jack had left his home in Saint Reia. Of course it was nice to come back to the tropical islands that had brought him up despite its hostile environment and the fact that the government seemed to swarm here faster than any of the other Blues to inflict “justice” upon the people. Needless to say it was the perfect place to bring up a hellion such as the lanky, scruffy haired character that sauntered into the local Dango shop that was surprisingly full of numerous pirates both human and merman. Hopefully no one would start any trouble with him today, not that he was afraid of a confrontation, but since he was looking for his crew as well as where the hell Syphalia disappeared of to he hadn’t eaten. Their escape from the Marines had happened about a week ago and he still hadn’t found the runt. Wobbling into the Dango shop Jack could feel as people had turned their heads to eye the newcomer into their domain. His vision shook before him and without thinking he sat down at the table to his right despite the fact that there was one person sitting there already; by pirate code something like that was enough to get a person beat up or even killed,
“Sorry partner, I’m a little hungry so I don’t really care about anything you have to say…” he groggily explained before allowing his head to droop onto the table.
Not long after he had set down a waitress girl with a fearful look on her face poked the passed out Jack rousing him, in an irritated mood, from his sleep and it was all the he could not to punch her square in the face when she asked him,
“What can I get for you?”
“Water”
“Water? I’m afraid we only serve paying customers so you’re going to have to get more than water” the girl explained to him in suddenly haughty town. Jack cursed on the inside; he hated dealing with people like this.
Just as he was trying to come up with something to tell the girl a plate went sailing into the ceiling where it smashed into numerous fragmented pieces followed by the roaring clutter of laughter that came from the darkest corner of the Dango shop. Immediately everyone’s attention was drawn in this direction to view a waiter getting punched out from the shadows by a massive hand sending the scrawny boy flying onto another customer’s table with blood streaming from his forehead as well his nose. Not one to get phased by the undue violence of others Jack casually turned back to the waitress to finish their conversation when suddenly another man came from the kitchen to confront the guys in the shadow for what they had done, but for some reason once the man got a look of who was back their he whimpered back. Again jeering and laughter could be heard, but impatience gripped Jack compelling him to grab the girl’s arm with bared teeth,
“F*ckin’ get me something to eat and put it on this guy’s tab” he ordered nodding at the individual across the table.
The girl nodded her head and scurried away with beads of sweat as she almost floated away on what Jack observed to be well oiled calf muscles. With an arched eyebrow Jack made a mental note to see when the girl got off work as his eyes readjusted their position, back to the man who was now supposedly paying for his food.
“Thanks for picking up the tab for me. I’m sure you don’t mind helpin’ a stranger out, right?” he said in a subtlety threatening tone; he wasn’t trying to get noticed by anyone here, but at the same time he couldn’t help behaving like himself. That was just Jack Dancer for you.
