"I GOT HIM NOW!" Kane shouted loudly, punching forward with his Hoshi powers enhancing his speed and his fist glowing a brilliant golden color. He had heard the guard's movements as he had approached and had targetted them as best as he could. His fist connected.
It connected hard.
A wave of pain shook the rest of his body.
"YOW!" he cried out loud, pulling his fist back, eyes closed tightly shut. Colors blasted in his mind. Only they weren't the colors that Corful had made this time. They were just simply because of the enormous amount of pain that had come from Kane literally punching a wall.
Punching a wall very hard, in fact.
Tears rolled down the sides of his face and he bit his lower lip. Blinking, his vision actually coming back, he went to say that this guy must be made of rock. That was when he realized that it had been a wall that he had attacked so enthusiastically.
"He... he must have moved or something. He was here just a second ago," Kane said before turning his head to see that the man, now with a broken set of teeth thanks to Shisha, was to the far right and several feet away. Kane slumped to the side onto the ground looking like his soul was close to leaking out of his body.
He recovered, after missing much of Corful's speech, when he heard Tenkei say that they were going to leave Shisha behind to deal with the color fanatic.
"Wait, what, we're doing what?" questioned Kane, blinking in surprise that they would even consider splitting up. The group was already divided. Was it really smart to further divide it now?
Kane stood up, standing close to Tenkei and looking at him for answers. That was when Corful ran at them. Tenkei crouched down, preparing, and so Kane took a stance with his fists.
"One touch from me, and it will be the end of you!"
"Oh, yeah? I'd like to see you tr- TENKEI!" Kane was confident in his skills as well as those of his crew. But he wasn't prepared at all for Tenkei to, despite his huge frame, leap directly over the man as he came charging at them. It left a big open space next to Kane and him exposed and freaking out.
"WHA-" Just then Corful's hand came straight at Kane's face. The young boy managed to somehow contort himself back so that the hand was a hair's graze from touching his face. He was pretty flexible about it as well. That was until he bent too far back and ended up falling straight on his butt.
"Oof!" Kane exhaled before his blue eyes snapped back up to look at his attacker.
Corful looked down at him evilly and went to attack again.
This time Kane rolled across the floor, stumbled up somehow, as the man's hand hit the ground, and then the Hoshi boy took off running for the elevator.
"OKAY, SHISHA, he's all yours! GOOD LUCK!" Kane shouted back at her, definitely realizing that she was the best to deal with this guy. As Tenkei pulled the lever, Kane dashed into the elevator. Soon they would be on there way together. But there was no telling if they would stay as a duo for long. It seemed that one by one the Hoshi's were becoming segmented off from each other.
