The glowing full moon loomed over the night sky. Its face smiled down on Leona like a mother looking at a daughter. A soft breeze moved her pitch black hair, which blended in with the darkness around her. She wore a black long sleeve shirt and black jeans. Her orange belt stood out along with her orange glasses. Her trench coat was made of black leather. She looked like a shadow as her slender figure moved throughout the darkness. Tonight was the night everything would change. Leona thought of her mother. How she was killed in cold blood by the world government. She thought of her father and how cruel he was. How he almost tried to kill her and her mother. The marines had shown her mother no kindness or protection. She hated them and the world government and tonight was the night to show it. She had already attacked a few annoying towns. That was nothing. Just small assassinations on those who asked for money or help. She just couldn't stand it anymore.
She passed the tree that said "60-69" and continued to walk. The moist ground made small sounds beneath her feet. Her black healed boots did not sink into the ground. It was stable enough. She had her boat in the port nearby so she could escape if needed. As she approached the H.Q she spotted two marines, petty officers. She moved her fingers and some pepper slipped out. It began to move forward, unseen in the darkness, and cut the necks of the two men. They fell to the ground without a sound. The pepper then returned to her fingers. She laughed quietly in the darkness. She continued to make a stand and was determined to kill as many officers as she could. This was going to be a fun night.
She continued and entered the building. "Why, Captan Leona what can i..." Leona cut him off with a rod of sharp pepper through his head. The man fell to the ground, dead. The twenty marines in the room stared wide eyed. There were a few chief petty officers, some higher ranking. Nothing higher than an ensign. She was upset at the turnout but it would have to do. Some lower ranking officers rushed towards her with blades in hand. She pulled her two sai out. As they rushed she did a quick sweep, slashing two in the stomach. Another rushed towards her. As he was about to impact she flipped over him and while in mid air grabbed his neck. His back hit the ground and he lay there. Two more men rushed towards her. She pressed the button on her two sai and they expanded to be four foot swards. Both the men's blades crashed with Leona's blades now held as an "x". She slid them and twisted and the men's blades went flying. She slashed them both in the neck and they fell to the ground, lifeless.
The floor shook like an earthquake for a moment. The marines stepped back a few steps. "Oh crap, a giant." Leona thought to herself. She turned around and there he was. A marine giant was standing in the door way. She could only see his leg in the door but he was big. She put her swards away. A hand reached in and grabbed her. She waited until she was outside and then she saw him. A male giant carrying a sward. She then sent spikes of pepper from her hips and the giant dropped her. This wasn't going to be easy. "Koushou Koushou whip!" She yelled. Ten whips of pepper shot from her fingers. "Ten!" She yelled. She then began to swirl and twist, warping the giants legs. He slashed at her with the sward. She dodged but he clipped her shoulder. It stung but she kept the whips around him. They began to curl up his body and moved along his arms. He moved but couldn't break free. "Koushou Koushou coffin!" She yelled. She herself joined with the pepper and began to constrict. The bones of the giant began to break and blood was released into the air. He dropped his sward and fell to the ground with a thud. Leona reformed in the building.
"Well boys this was fun! We will have to do it again soon." She said to the remaining marines. "Koushou Koushou black out." She said as the rest of them ran towards her. The room was covered in pepper and Leona ran from the building. The pepper followed and placed itself back on her body. Her boots made a much louder sound now that she was running. She watched as the men looked around, helpless. They had no idea where she was, then she was spotted. They began to run towards her. Her boat was at the docks, if only she could reach it. She looked to her left to see trees fly past her in the dark. The air became more moist and she knew she was approaching water. Yes! There it was! Her boat loomed in the darkness ahead. Her boots made a bumping sound on the wood bellow. She jumped on the ladder to get to her ship and began to climb. She raised the anchor and laughed at the marines standing at the docks waving there fists. She approached the weal and began to sail on into the night. "Here we go." she said to herself.
