Name of Island: Suzume
Size of Island: This island is mod erately sized (slightly larger than Drum Island).
Location: Fairytale Route
Inhabitants: People here are typically well rounded people, and most of them kind hearted and generous. Some, however, express a noticeable amount of greed on occasion, especially an old woman who lives out in the middle of the woods. The culture of these people is similar to traditional Japanese peasantry, as they possess an emperor and serve him, though the monarchy and it's relationship to it's people has not been corrupted in anyway.
Town(s)/Village(s)/City or Cities:
Flora and Fauna:
The island is mostly covered in a bamboo forest. There are other grass plants on the island as well as wheat fields and fruit orchards in all of the towns, but from a distance, the only plant visible on the island is bamboo.
Animals on the island include bears, game animals, and the town's livestock. Rivers that flow down the mountains carry fresh water fish as well as salt water fish returning to their nesting grounds (when this happens, the emperor forbids fishing so as not to disturb the balance of nature). The only birds on the island aside from seagulls are sparrows. These sparrows seem like average birds (slighly larger than normal), however they are capable of displaying human inteligence and speech, though no sparrow ever displays this inteligence outside of the walls of the Sparrow Inn. Every sparrow knows where the Sparrow Inn is on the island at all times, and they sometimes take humans there when the humans need great assistance with something. Unfortunately for these particular sparrows, their tongues are a great delicacy on the ocean and the black market is willing to pay quite a pretty penny to obtain them.
Island History: Before the island was settled, it belonged solely to the animals that lived there. When it was first being settled by humans, the people and the sparrows fought over the land, slowly diminishing their numbers until each side was down to a fraction of their original amounts. Had it not been for the efforts of an old man and a sparrow he had saved from death, the battle between the two species would have dragged on until neither side would have been able to restore themselves to their former glory.
The old man and the sparrow were able to stop the fighting by acting as middle men for the two sides in heavy negotiations. It was decided in these negotiations that the humans would be allowed to stay on the island as their home as long as they did not colonize any land in between the mountains. It would also be common courtesy for the humans of the island to provide assitance to any sparrow they found needing it, and vice-versa. These were agreeable terms and the battle between the humans and the sparrows had finally ended. The history of the island had not been officially recorded, but it is still kept alive as a story to be passed down from generation to generation on the island.
Currently, the actions of Old Woman Yoku have shaken up the relations between the islanders and the sparrows, though they still trust one another, agreeing that Lady Yoku must go. However, sparrows are unwilling to go anywhere near her house, even to lead humans, and humans cannot find her house as they have checked many times. For now, the only solution is to keep an eye out for the former pirate (avoiding her for sparrows, to capture her for the humans).
NOTE - This island is based off of a Japanese Fairytale: Shita-Kiri Suzume, or Tongue-Cut Sparrow.

Town(s)/Village(s)/City or Cities:
- Plume - The major village of the town that lies directly around the imperial palace. There are several other villages but not much goes on in these places. Trade here is quite lively and reflects a higher sense of sophistication and purpose. The villagers here are slightly more reminiscent of an upper-class.
- Imperial Palace - Visitors are always welcome here, as there are plenty of guards patrolling its hallways and quarters at all times. The Emporer Kyouku and his wife Shiraha reside in this palace. The architecture and structure of the palace is similar to a large scale Matsumoto Castle.
- Other Villages - These are the maller villages that are scattered throughout the island: Down, Lift, Glide, and Perch.
- Valley of the Sparrows - In the center of the island are several tall mountains, with the large bamboo forest weaving in between. It is said by the villagers that there is a magical place hidden on one of the mountains, nestled inside the encroaching bamboo forest that offers a great deal of services to those with no greed in their hearts.
- The Sparrow Inn - Inside the Valley of the Sparrows, there is a much more decorative palace that is quite difficult to find without assistence from those who live there. It has an almost surreal quality. The sparrows here have an almost human intelligence and the palace itself changes places every 3 days (the sparrows carry it somewhere else). The identity of the leader of the sparrows here is kept a closely guarded secrect. No one is to know who he is. The only way to tell if it's him or not is that his feathers have a slightly higher sheen to them, but no sparrow will dare reveal this fact to anyone.
- Old Lady Yoku's Place - Inside the bamboo forest, there is also an broken down old house. It belongs to an old woman on the island who wants to find The Sparrow Inn, take all of it's valuables, and other horrible things. When she isn't searching for the Inn, she is out hunting the sparrows.
