Grading

On Bon Voyage, characters earn X-Poinz by having their threads graded. Each post made in a thread with other participants will yield 20 X-Poinz, with the minimum word count per post being 100 words. There are solo threads called Logs, which yield 1 X-Poin for every 25 words written. Crews also earn Crew X-Poinz at a rate of 10 X-Poinz earned for each post by a crew member in the thread.

In addition to the base X-Poinz per post, bonuses may be earned. The multiplayer bonus gives an additional 15% bonus (23 XPz) if there are three thread participants, increasing to 30% bonus (26 XPz) if there are four or more participants in a thread. The multiplayer bonus does not apply to Crew X-Poinz.

Account X-Poinz

Account X-Poinz differs from regular X-Poinz in that it can only be used to purchase Techniques and is attached to the player’s account, rather than a specific character. Players may spend their Account X-Poinz on any of their characters, expanding their technique pools and giving them a few extra tools in their kit. NPCing in threads for other players earns 10 Account X-Poinz per post and will awarded after grading.

Logs

As stated above, Logs are solo stories that yield 1 X-Poin for every 25 words written. Some stories can only be told a certain way. Whether because they are too personal, too lonely, or too strange to have another character be a part of them, there are many reasons for why you might choose to use a Log to tell a part of your character’s story. Logs have a particular ruleset that differentiates them from normal threads.

• Solo
  A Log is a full story written by a single author, thus allowing you to tell a part of your character's story without anyone else.
• Canon
  Logs are counted as a part of your character's canon. This means they can be used to gain X-Poinz, they can serve to fulfill the requirements for Haki, and the actions a character takes within them can count for both bounty and promotion requests.
• A Single Post
  A Log should be completely contained within a single post. Some people will write multi-Log stories, but each individual Log should be a single post.
• About a Single OC
  A Log can only earn X-Poinz for a singular character - but this does not mean they have to be the only character in it. You can use NPCs or other OCs of your own, but only a single OC can gain X-Poinz from a Log.

Unlike other types of threads, Logs are not posted in the areas of the world they take place in - instead, they are compiled in the Logs board. As they are personal in nature, Logs never count toward Crew X-Poinz.

Grading Template

When you and your partners decide that one of your stories is all done and dusted, it becomes time to submit it for Grading so you can cash in on some hard earned X-Poinz! Here’s what you need to do!

Step 1: Create a new thread in the Plot Submission board and name it after the thread you’re requesting a score on. Make sure to add (Sub), (Kill), or (Log) so that we know at a glance what it’s for! Kill just means that its an incomplete thread for whatever reason, but you'd still like to cash it in.

Step 2: Use the templates shown below to create a quick profile of what needs to be assessed. Start with the Thread Details Template and then follow it up with additional templates as required. These include the customary Character Scoring Template and, if any crews or organizations are involved, the Crew Scoring Template. Repeat these as necessary for each participating original character and crew. Make sure to tag all participating members so that they know the thread has been submitted!

Step 3: Make sure to tag all involved members somewhere before posting so that they know it’s been set up! Then finish the post. Now all you have to do is wait on the final score from a Grader.

Log Template

For Logs, the process is much the same as regular threads. Create a new thread in the Plot Submission board and name it after the log, add (Log) to the title so we know its a log, and use the template below!

(If you go to a post and click on the gear button in the top right corner, you can obtain a link by selecting the “Link to Post” option in the drop-down menu that appears.)
