Truth be told Rook had put little thought on where exactly he was going with his great endeavor. He just kinda decided to set sail on his dinghy and let it take him wherever. Perhaps that was a bad idea and he has gotten a bit ahead of himself. The thought of requiring a navigator for his crew truly never crossed his mind. Lucky for Rook he’d made it to the Frost Kingdom and with a bit of help from a friendly fisherman he found himself walking the streets of Frost City. Rook stared in awe at all the carved stone.
“Whoa…”
He huffed, back home the closest thing to walls they had were stockades that were found around makeshift forts. To see so many bustling around was another thing. Guard’s posted around patrolling the cities. It was also extremely clean. Impressive! Incredible! Those are the words that bounced off inside his head. But all that came to a halt when he felt his stomach grumble. Normally this was easily fixed by either catching himself something to eat or going to his mom’s. Neither was an option here so maybe hitting a restaurant was the next best option.
Following his nose he was led to what seemed like a tavern. A smokey smell of barbecue was pouring from the inside. Rook peaked inside over the saloon style doors that were at the entrance. It was nothing out of the ordinary, just a couple of patrons catching their lunch breaks and a few sailors having a drink slumped on the bar with a bored looking woman tending the bar. A waiter walked around getting people’s orders dressed in rather dapper attire but strangely enough wearing an apron. Rook snuck in and sat at an empty table wondering what to do next. Would the waiter come his way… or was it one of those places where you had to shout for the waiter?
