Ikra’s reaction put a smile on Pesha’s face. While she couldn’t quite put her finger on it, there was something about this woman that was alluring without her even trying to be, and that was the most fascinating quality to her. Her dream was to be loved yet it seemed that very little effort needed to be put into achieving her goal. She had a certain pull toward her that Pesha found herself caught up in, and she genuinely believed that anybody who had anything to do with Ikra could easily be drawn in. Her sweet and caring nature was endearing.
“It’s a deal.” She repeated, tilting her head before flicking some loose strands of her deep purple hair that began to fall in front of her face.
As her new friend tried to remember the library, Pesha watched her, empathetically mimicking her pained expression without realising that she was doing so. While she longed for some sort of lead that would allow her to be reunited with her Vasca, it saddened her to see this woman strain herself for her own benefit. She had already done so much for her, and now she was pushing herself further, mentally and perhaps emotionally.
Before Ikra even said a word, Pesha was already nodding, ready to stop at any point that Ikra felt she needed to, then she paused when she was asked a question and her nodding became a subtle shake of her head. “I’m sorry, I really don’t know a lot about the islands down here. I might have made a stop somewhere along the way for fuel and what not, but I don’t remember what island it was…” she let out a sigh, disheartened by how little she could actually help her own cause or Ikra’s.
As this Demitri person was mentioned, however, Pesha smiled and nodded. “Let’s go find Demitri then! Seeing a map might jog my memory.”
