Roland #1
Another attempt to find a crew didn't work out as Roland expected and hoped it will. Well, he should probably expect that bond created over a dozen or so bottles won't be an exceptionally hard one but still, he didn't expect it to crumble apart right after the girls sober up! Well, at least he still had his Ekaterina. The retired pirate looked at the girl, who was just winning enough money for their room in an arm-wrestling tournament, she started herself. Speaking of expectations, Roland finished another shot and looked at his companion, one would expect that the local fishermen will be smart enough not to challenge a girl who was carrying around a two-handed sword as if it was nothing, despite her fragile look, but perhaps he was mistaken because since she started this morning, she didn't have a lack of challengers
Yea, she was alright, it was Roland who's usually good mood needed to boost.
"Perhaps Kattie was right…"
He thought for himself, sending another shot down his throat. Maybe he should never disband his original crew or rather, maybe he should start a new one with him as the captain and her as his first mate. It could work, they were quite strong, even for the treacherous waters of West Blue.
"Unlike this thing!"
Roland snapped, smashing an empty bottle right next to her two sisters.
"What is this made from water? Bring me something stronger."
Hearing his booming voice, the bartender gasped in fear before stuttering on verge of tears.
"But...but you already drank everything stronger in the past two days."
The retired pirate sighed. That girl was terrified of him for no reason. His mood was bad, yes, but he would never hurt her just because of that. That was however something she didn't know. All she knew was that he was a "fearsome pirate" with a bounty of 10 million on his head, as someone dug up an old bounty poster of his the second day after his arrival.
"Alright, alright, just don't cry ok? Bring me the strongest stuff you have, that will be enough."
He muttered.
