Tenzin's eyes snapped open, he held onto his bed sheets tightly panting and looking around. Beads of cold sweat formed around his head as his eyes shifted erratically looking around.
"Calm down boy! You'll hurt yourself."
Came a gentle voice, from the corner of the room an old man with a curly beard and peach skin stood up. He was dressed rather humbly in a simple light-blue buttoned-up shirt and khakis. Tenzin turned to look at him but as he did, he felt a sudden burst of pain over his head. Clenching his teeth he put his hand over his head.
"Ugh..."
The old man walked toward him and slowly patted him down. Laying the monk boy's head on the soft pillow.
"Stand still lad, I'm surprised you even survived that kind of damage. You're honestly lucky to even be alive."
Tenzin opened up his eyes, there was a rather annoyed expression on his face. Not because of the old man. But rather due to his lack of ability to do anything. Not to mention the pounding headache he now had. But through it all, he remembered the good samaritan who had saved him. The girl! Right! So, they made it to the hospital? Where was she though and who was this geezer?"
"Who... who are you and where is... where is..."
He began but was cut short by the old man whose brown wrinkly eyes lifted up with his smile.
"I'm Doctor Orange, the local physician who has been tending to your wounds."
The old man then gestured behind himself pointing to a bed a few feet away on which Ailuria presumably rested.
"Your friend is resting over there, she has a mighty bad broken leg. What were you kids up to ohoho. Oh to be young again."
