Amidst gentle waves at sea, a sloop known as St. Anne sailed the tranquil seas of the world's southernmost sea. The transport ship was carrying all manner of trade goods, sugar from Cinna Island (from where it had just departed), Spices from Zarzara, Silk from the Ciudadela Queendom, and Jewelry from the Silver Islands.
The ship went everywhere! Dropping off goods and carrying more. At the moment it was headed over to Yeste for a quick pit stop. Ridley had made a good choice all in all in choosing this ship. The Captain was a very friendly fellow who had given him a discount for being a doctor. However, as things would have it. The mention of Blair joining was omitted.
Not that Blair knew or cared, he couldn't comprehend such things yet. However, the primal man couldn't help but wonder why he was in a strange cave made out of wood and why he wasn't allowed to crawl outside. Or why he had to spend a lot of his day inside a crate or barrel. Oh well, at least he had a steady supply of food. Being around the purple man was good, he gave food and that's all Blair really cared about in his state of mind. He craved food constantly and needed something or someone to help him sustain it.
Sprawled on the lower deck of the ship Blair stared up at the ceiling waiting for Ridley to come around. His long to medium-length hair was spread across the wooden floor acting as a mat for him. Dark eyes slightly jittered about as he concentrated on a dimly lit lantern on the ceiling. Like a moth, he curiously stared at the warm glow of flame inside the lantern.
It was odd, he could almost feel the color. Letting out a sight Blair turned on his side spotting some small insects. Blankly he stared at the small creatures march on the boards. He couldn't tell time, but Blair was clever... very very clever. He picked up things faster than normal and had learned to calculate time-based on his circadian rhythm and based on his needs. It was around this time that Ridley usually came around to show him pictures and speak to him.
