The town house resonated with the sounds of metal clanging on metal, and wood being slammed into place for all of a solid minute, before being replaced with the sound of loud - but soft - purring.
Leo had just built a new chair for his host and he always tested the furniture after he made it. There was something grounding about building your own items from scratch and it was only natural to use them first. Chefs did that with their food too, right?
Footsteps echoed from the stairwell as a middle-aged woman clomped her way into view. Currently, she held a prestigious position as Leo's number 1 person in Jreum - though that was partly because she was one of the first people he met coming off the boat. Leo bounced out of the chair, gesturing at it frenetically to her, and she silently sat in it with a sigh of contentment.
"Awww yeah!" Leo always felt pumped when someone enjoyed his craftsmanship. His host nodded to him silently - she wasn't much of a talker - and Leo bounded outside - guitar in tow. His lodging for a good week had also been secured.
"Mrrrrrrr.... raWWwrr....". He grunted noisily as he clambered up the side of the townhouse. While Leo was certainly a buff cat, he lacked the long claws that other minks could use to climb effectively. That was the official reason, anwyay. Leo would never admit it, but cardio is the bane of the beefy people.
Fortunately, a few moments were all that he needed to catch his breath. His eyes narrowed against the sunlight, squinting and searching out signs of moving water. His guitar strapped across his back, Leo took off, bounding across the rooftops.
It was a pleasant day for sightseeing. The sun was bright - a few hours past midday - and a few clouds cast thin shadows across the city. Throngs of people below went about their business shopping for dinner or coming home from their jobs. Over there was a fancy looking Navy ship, and over there was a dock with many ships Leo could work on. And over there was a nearby park he could probably co-.
He had been jumping between buildings on reflex and peripheral vision, and hadn't looked down at the ground in quite some time. A comical pause ensued as Leo found himself past the last buildings and flailing in the air, before starting to plummet a few stories towards the water.
"Aww shucks, my guitar's on my back," he remembered, before plunging into the chilling depths with a huge splash. He wasn't worried though. Leo had accidentally submerged his guitar several times prior. The first time had taught him to not leave electrical charges in the guitar when it wasn't in use. When that shocking problem was resolved, he just had to clean and dry the guitar thoroughly before using its electrical components again.
Leo would have forgotten about the guitar anyway, though. As he sank beneath the surface, thousands of glittery fish scattered in every direction. His eyes lit up, and he started "fishing" barehanded. It was fortunate he had the guitar on hand, because it extended his striking range.
A good minute after he had plunged below the surface, Leo burst back out onto land - a fish in his mouth and each hand. It was at this moment he realized that he had a few observers. Nothing crazy, it was bound to happen - he had run near the center of town near the SWORD Command block. The bored looking guards up the walls looked on with polite disinterest, while a couple of families stared. Evidently their children had not seen a mink in some time.
Leo beamed at them as he made his way to the nearby park he had spotted while catching air. He thought he'd seen a cooking pit there. While Leo was a fan of sashimi, he hadn't had a roasted fish in quite some time.
Soon he had his spot in the park, his fish crackling and burbling cheerfully on sticks turned improvised spits. His guitar had been mostly dried, so he began strumming a tune as he waited for the fish to cook. Normally he would have played something a little more electric, but acoustic music seemed to fit today's mood better.
His playing faltered briefly when his leg was licked, and he looked down to see a stray dog.
"Heyyyyy buddy? You hungry?" He spoke directly to the dog as a cat rather than as a human, pausing his music to pat the dog on the head and then gently scratch behind the ears.
"Oh yeah. I'd like that. Food? Food! Is that Fish?!" The dog clearly hadn't eaten for a while.
"Don't you worry friend-o, you can eat your fill when its ready." Leo rubbed the dog's back as it curled up next to him, and resumed playing his tunes. He could smell the fish already....

(Sorta tl;dr: Other people would see some subset of Leo jumping across rooftops, falling into the sea near the centre of town, coming out with fish, and then setting up to cook the fish and play some music in a park nearby.
Also, if you want a sense of what music I had in mind, google/youtube Govi)
