Brandon #8
Accomplished. That was the feeling prevailing in Brandon’s form as he stood there, flippers on hips, as he gave a sharp nod in response to the congratulations he’d received. Of course he’d do a great job — he could never amount to any less than the best! Well, almost; there was one ever so small problem that now presented itself.“It’s the water chicken— I mean— penguin!”
“What are you waiting for! Catch it!” Marten and Polkat were on the case it seemed, frantically flailing after their earlier mishap. Now free of their own failure, the two men dove forth once more, this time casting their arms out to snatch the feathered fowl. Brandon squawked in shock; panic overtook as they closed in upon him, forcing his footing as he kicked off the deck and flattened his body. No intent, just instinct, but it seemed primal necessity was still more logical than the minds of these two-legged fools.
“You dumb bird! Doing that just makes it easier to— Wait, what?!” Polkat’s exclamation was cut short when he and his partner in crime suddenly found themselves back to back, arms pinned against their bodies. To be entirely frank, even Brandon had no idea what he’d just done, only that he was now wrapped around the middle of the two men like some sort of oversized belt.“Oru— Oru!”
“Hey! Let me go!” Marten cried, struggling against papery bindings. The combination of movements and stepping did nothing to free the two men; fierce footfalls made them slowly rotate on the spot and wobble back and forth in the paper binding. Another two came at them, clearly making to cut them loose, but a simple twist and tightening of the wrap caused an unlikely scene. Marten leaned forwards, shifting almost all of the weight to his side and lifting Polkat off the deck, whose flailing legs ended up booting the two others in the face and knocked them out cold.
“Kuu…?” the penguin quizzed, surprised in this turn of events; not just on his side, but on Leonard’s too. The man with a badger on his head had been disarmed, shaved, and scared by whatever had just transpired. And, at the swordsman’s challenge, the rest seemed equally terrified…{Tech: Paper Roll}
Flattening his entire body, Brandon bends himself into a wheel-like loop and rolls along, allowing to move swiftly (if a bit precariously when the winds are strong). Though useful, it’s not suitable for combat, as his rolling form doesn’t pack an awful lot of punch. However, he can also use this technique to wrap about somebody’s body, which can be useful if he’s able to restrain their arms.
