So it begins! Shinku
*CRASH* ‘Bugger!’ *CLANG* ‘Not Good!’ *CRASH* ‘I’m free!’. The sounds of devastation came from a rather large house. The noise maker was a large fluffy white dog and self-admitted best girl, Mika. The dog was running out of a now smashed glass door that had variety of big and heavy items strewn about the kitchen. This dog was running at full speed out of the back alley and was following the scent of sea air.
‘Gotta find Carlos! Gotta find the bed!’ The thought as she ran at full pelt down the alleyways and streets of the Frost City, ignoring any big and mean looking human and nice scents she ran by. Though all it did was make her hungry. Not too far behind this fleeing pupper was a rather large rotund man and his similarly round child.
“Daddy! I want that dog! She is mine I found her first!” Screeched the brat, that was doing his best to not trip over his own feet and start rolling down the street after the scared dog. The pair were losing ground though and as they got closer to the main market place the streets got more packed and they were starting to lose sight on their prey.
“We will get you a new one Augustus.” The now panting older large man wheezed out as he got stuck between a building and a pile of filed crates that made him perfectly wedged as he tried to get around the crowd. “The next time the hunters come in with a dog it is yours.” Mika managed to hear as she turned around a corner and skidded to a halt, knowing that she was now free of that horrid pair of humans… they weren’t her pack.
“I’m hungry.” The girl whimpered to herself, her keen nose starting to finally register the smells of food coming from the market. The sound of her stomach rumbling practically shook the whole dog as it echoed out down the alley. “Really hungry…” She cried as she began to absent maimedly follow a particularly nice scent that her nose had picked up on.
‘They were so big but didn’t give me any meat… only green things that tasted icky.’ Mika thought, remembering the morning of torture she had after the boulder of a boy managed to corner her in a side street. She was lucky she was so tough otherwise the big kids squeezing would have made her pop… this was the first time that dog had felt real fear… it was terrifying and she did not want to ever feel it again. EVER!
