Gloomy and depressing... that was the best way to describe Twilight Island. A constant dreary atmosphere surrounded the place making it look grim and dim with a purple tinge to it. For most this would be a deal-breaker to come here in the first place or to spend enough time. You'd notice that feeling would become more apparent when knowledge of the Island's almost dictatorship status reached your ears. Apparently, some World Government dog decided he would rule over the island like its de facto sovereign. All of this, however, didn't matter to Itachi. He was on the island for business and business reasons only! So all this Rear Admiral nonsense didn't phase him nor did it concern him really. He was only to here to finish a contract he'd taken up. Something about killing a crazy cat lady who could turn into a cat.
Itachi took his first step on the shore. His posture is slouched and sloppy. One look at him and you'd likely assume he lacked any discipline due to his lazy pose. The ninja's foot hit the Island's wooden docks which were rotting making creaking sounds every time he took a step. With that he began to leave behind the metal steamboat he had arrived on ignoring all the sailors whom he'd spent weeks with. Instead, his attention was on Miu's bounty poster. That's what the contractor had given him and through word of mouth like any good assassin he had pinpointed Koneko Miu's next location. A good assassin always knew where his next victim was. Assasin that's what they called him although he didn't typically kill his contracts since apparently they were more valued alive... a 30% increase in the price to be exact. His job was art! At least that's what Itachi would tell you... an art where sloppy work was not tolerated.
As Itachi walked through the port his eyes where glued on the bounty poster. Blue flames filled the background as the image of a woman was clearly visible. So his target likely had blue flames... the ninja scratched his chin as he thought the matter through thoroughly. He then looked at the bounty the money the sum. While he would receive the money payment he would also get a little extra on the side from the contract. It was like a 3rd party bounty if you will. Maybe that's what he was... a 3rd party bounty hunter. Or maybe a hitman? Bah! No reason to think over stupid technicalities like that. Itachi crumpled up the bounty poster and tossed it into the nearest trash can. Bounties where stupid... just numbers assigned by the Government to make greedy bastards run for them. In a sort of sick way they also where a display of power? Although to Itachi that was not a good metric. Power can never be assigned a number. Power was fluid and had many different forms. If anything a bounty was a metric of danger. But the danger didn't always equate to power no. Danger and power where two different things.
Itachi began to get deeper into the town, he noticed that people were looking at him funny. Not that Itachi cared, he doubted people would actually question what he was up to. The Marines were more likely to do that... as a matter of fact, Itachi noticed he was being shadowed by Marines... by two seamen to be exact. It had begun to happen when he landed on the island. He felt their eyes glued to him. Unlike Itachi, they had never had ninja training. They could be forgiven for their amateurism at best. The dubious Ninja decided it was best to dispose of these mooks. Useless. That's what they were. Like most marines, too incompetent to complete their jobs and too serious to enjoy thrills. Itachi walked into an alleyway he placed his hand on a wall. The next minute he was gone! He had vanished! The seamen shadowing him entered the alleyway behind him however they didn't find the Ninja no trace of him could be deduced.

The sound of a zipper being opened up was heard and from behind the Marines walked out Itachi coming out of a wall. *Jippajutsu: Kuchi* that was his technique! Using zippers as doors in-between places. The seamen turned around in surprise one that was cut short as immediately Itachi grabbed both their heads and slammed them together knocking them out cold.
"Easy peasy lemon squeezy! Ziziziziziziz!"
Itachi laughed as he grabbed one of the unconscious bodies and opened them up with a zipper putting one of the seamen on like one would an article of clothing or a costume. Another technique of Itachi's! Jippajutsu: Henshin! A total makeover! A disguise on a time crunch as his living costume would become unusable once he woke up. But at least for now he wouldn't be shadowed... intact. Now he could perhaps enter the marine base and perhaps usurp someone else's body. Everything was going according to plan. Soon he would have his own little army that could capture Miu with ease. For not only could Itachi be anywhere but he could also be anyone. The Ninja... no seaman... walked from out of the alleyway reaching into his Marine coat and pulling out a card one with credentials. If he was to impersonate this fellow he was going to have to know his name at least.
"Zan Sombrero. What a name! Zizizizizi!"
Itachi laughed looking at his new persona. The kama-itachi's seed had been planted now all he needed was to see if it would germinated into something positive...
