Personality
Kurumi is a very cheery sort of person. Though ultimately, she comes off as pretty calm and collected in most situations, she's usually thinking about how she can just do what she wants for the most part. Not to mention what she usually wants to do is have some fun. Despite her somewhat reckless nature when it comes to trying new things or just trying to have a good time, she typically has a good head on her shoulders and weighs her options quite often, but more often than not she's willing to take a higher risk than what she'd get out of whatever she's doing.
That's not to say that she doesn't have a more serious side, as she has a deep affection for people whom she truly takes the time to get to know, those whom she considers her friends and practically family to her and she wouldn't have it any other way, to that end she's also very open about a lot of things and typically won't lie unless it would be a life or death situation, and even than she might not be able to quell her tongues blunt nature.
When it comes to people she doesn't like, her first instinct is to just separate herself from them, she'd much rather just avoid people that are rude or obnoxious and would prefer not to escalate things, this even goes as far as her just acting like she hasn't noticed, or doesn't pay attention to those people, but should they continue to bother her, or worse, the people she cares about, she'll likely start to get confrontational.
Money is something she honestly doesn't care much about, unless she knows she's saving up for something particularly important, she's more than happy to spend anything she's got on things that'll make herself, or other people happy, though this typically ends up being food, she happens to enjoy it quite a bit and has a particular fancy for nuts of all kinds.

Appearance
Kurumi Mandorla stands at a rather short four feet and six inches tall. Her overall stature is very lithe. Kurumi has curly dark purple hair that looks black in most lights but in direct sun you can tell it's purple, that goes down to her shoulders, looks very light and poofy. She has dark brown eyes, her face is pointed outwards a bit like a squirrels would be and her nose is black. Kurumi has c-cup breasts.
Being a mink, Karumi is covered from head to tail in fur. Her fur in particular looks like a rusty red/brown color, her eyes are surrounded by a lighter shade of her fur, giving what looks like circles around her eyes. She also has a lighter shade of fur over her belly in a circle. Then there are three strips that go down the length of her tail that are this same shade. The rusty red/brown color of her fur darkens at the tip of her ears, which are a bit more pointed than a regular squirrels ears, and at the tip of her tail. Her tail is quite long, though it isn't nearly as bushy as a regular squirrels would be, looking about as wide as her shoulders are, at its widest, and it starts thin and then widens and rounds towards the end, but then stops flat, giving it an edged flat end instead of a rounded one. The underside of her tail is same color of the lighter shade of fur around her eyes and as her tail stripes.
Kurumi typically wears long dresses, very airy and breathable, but also with long sleeves. She accents this look with a white wide brimmed straw sun hat with a yellow ribbon wrapped about the rounded crown of the hat. Typically when wearing dresses she'll usually just wrap her tail around her waist and body to keep it from peeking out. Though when she's just wearing something a bit more comfortable like shorts and a tee-shirt, her tail simply stays behind her in a relatively still position.

Background
Kurumi Mandorla was kidnapped at a young age and taken away from her home, though in the process of trying to get her somewhere they could profit off of her, said captors became involved in an altercation, during which she was lost to them and taken in by the Marines. After it was determined that trying to return her was simply out of the question, she was taken back and eventually put into an orphanage, though she wouldn't stay in it for very long. Given her particular species, she was actually adopted rather quickly by a wealthy family. From then on her life began, and it wasn't half bad either!
Despite her obvious differences, she didn't seem to have much to deal with growing up, partially due to her parents own influence that kept her from being targeted, as well as just general seclusion. There was really no reason for her to go out with any other people on a regular basis, so more often than not she stayed in and kept to herself. Despite this somewhat sheltered upbringing, it didn't sour her mood on people at all. Once she became old enough it was put to that she should begin some form of study. Of course the academics were at her disposal, and after some time wondering what she wanted to learn more of, she found out that medicine happened to be particularly interesting to her. As such she began to learn more and more of the field, though oddly enough she was more interested in things like poisons and diseases initially, though she did her best to get a good grasp of it all.
Though while in this stage of her life, she became more curious as to whom she actually belonged to, it had been obvious to her for a long time that her adoptive parents were just that, and not her real ones. Bringing the subject up only ended in the topic being avoided outright or her being told off. Ultimately she wasn't too perturbed by this fact, especially since her adoptive parents had actually been rather good to her for most of her life, thinking that perhaps they thought she was ungrateful of what they'd done for her. Slowly finding out more about herself through various old books and simply trying things out herself, finding her own static manipulation to be beyond fascinating. Though what the real problem for her was, she wanted to get away, to see more of the world. In all her studies she'd read about exotic locations and interesting people while looking through books, so much so that she felt more and more tempted to try and leave. She considered her possibilities and as much as the Marines seemed like a good choice, she didn't exactly like the idea of starting from the bottom of those ranks, especially given how she was, she didn't think they'd take too kindly to her anyway. No, she'd decided that the best way to get some more excitement in her life, to actually live, was to escape. Though she couldn't tell her parents, goodness knows they'd likely stop her, so she came up with a clever ruse, leaving a fake kidnapping note for her parents, she snuck away and arranged passage on a merchant ship to take her to the rest of her life.
