What's a hero without a villain? Does your marine need a pirate to fight against? Does your pirate need someone slightly less evil to make them look better? Marines, Revos, Pirates, Bandits...I offer conflict of all kinds.
Rather than writing your character beat on unnamed fodder #217 they could have a knock-down drag out fight with someone with personality and strength.
Want a deep personal grudge? No problem. Need a few named characters to get mowed down by your mighty fighter? That's why I'm here.
