The trial was over, though admittedly it was a little rushed and nobody bothered to actually sentence her or anything, since she had pleaded guilty and everyone knew her sentencing. And now she was standing up from her chair, looking up at the windows that had the telltale orange light of fire shining through the glass. Someone had set something on fire, evidently, and Alexandra felt a flash of worry that Eden had been caught aflame somehow, but shook away that thought before it had a chance to settle. No, Eden was reckless but he knew how to put himself out, and she was sure Zen would be able to keep him from getting caught well enough.
Turning to the Captain, who had been looking up at the windows as well, their eyes met and some unspoken understanding flowed between them. Now that her crew, her friends, were fighting for her, she could do no less than fight for them in return. Now only one question remained, would he fight to uphold justice and have her face her sentence? Or would he allow her to escape to uphold his own justice, and the respect they had for each other?
"Men, escort the prisoner back to her cell, Archer you're with me, start getting the internal guards mobilized and tell the men on the upper floors not to bother coming down. Just have them get their weapons and rain hell on their heads, middle and lower floors-" she lost what else he was going to say as she was escorted out of the room and down the hall. Alexandra waited until they walked down to a familiar hallway before looking around carefully, she watched as her guards barely glanced at her and focused on their surroundings, expecting an ambush at any second.
They were looking the wrong way.
Moving with a sudden burst of speed, Alexandra struck at the necks of the two in front, hitting a nerve that had them down and out for the count, and as she ducked down she grabbed the sheathed sabers from the belts of the men on either side of her, drawing them as she twirled and cut at the remaining guards legs, the four men falling and clutching their bleeding legs. A few swift kicks to their heads had them unconscious and silent. With a quick glance around to make sure no potential enemies had seen or heard the scuffle, she immediately ran down the hall, bypassing her cell and taking a series of very specific turns before coming to a very specific door. Stopping just before she reached it, she scanned the area before stepping forward and putting her ear to the door, listening for anything that might indicate an occupant.
Nothing. Silence.
Opening the door, she peeked in, fully prepared for an ambush and to retreat at a moments notice. Seeing an empty room, she slid inside and closed the door behind her. No one, completely empty. Was it intended? The Captain had to know she would come here to go after her weapons and gear, which were still tucked away in the corner of Captain Nigel Montgomery's office. Smiling at the gesture, she grabbed her sword, shield, cloak and the rest of her effects, and turned to the door with the full intent of blowing the joint when she paused, looking around, and grinned as an idea sparked in her mind.
It only took, maybe, a minute and half, but by the time she was done, everything in the room, had been moved two and a half inches off centre. The desk to the left, the cabinets foward, even the stacks of paper on the desk had been shifted, just slightly. Not enough to be obvious, but enough that he'll feel a little off kilter when he come in.
Snickering to herself, she did one final thing. She took a piece of signed paper, and walked straight to the window. Opening it, she slipped her head out and looked down, it was fire and chaos down there. It was easy to spot where Eden was, as he was forming his own form of chaos a little ways off to the side. Alexandra laughed brightly at the site, but try as she might, she could spot neither Zen nor his feline partner. Where was he? Then it struck her like lightning.
Oh God... Oh no.
Turning, she bolted out of the office and started running down the halls, dodging and ducking away from any patrols and pockets of Marines that filled the building. She wanted to call out, wanted to find her friend, because Alexandra knew that if Eden was out there having fun, Zen had more than likely sneaked in with the intent of finding her. He wasn't a full frontal combatant type so it made sense.
Ducking around another corner, she skidded to a full stop at she recognized a full head of sandy blonde hair atop a very short boy. Her features broke out into an Eden-worthy smile.
"Zen!"
