A soft melody was filling the concert hall, one that was slow, hopeful and filled the crowd of people that was occupying the hall with happiness and smiles. Even with this being the last song of the night from the idol that was on stage. The odd short purple haired girl with apparent wolf ears and tail. She was stood perfectly still, her eyes drawn to a near close as her voice echoed around the hall carrying her words. “When will I see you again? When will I see you again~? When will I see you again? When will I see you again…?”
As the sounds of a guitar stopped playing the girl would look up from a soft sorrowful look and don one of the largest grins to ever grace the Bliss kingdom. The microphone Den Den Mushi dropped with her hand still grasping it to her side and the air around her seemed to glow a pale yellow colour. Between her pants and thrilled looks, she saw her crowed bust into a thunderous applause for what was the last song of the night. The glow seemed to get brighter as the girl grinned more and more, happy that her set was well received by this new audience. The vibrant eyed performer would scan the audience and take in each of their faces, their smiles, and happiness… the joy she had brought to them was enough to set her tail off in a frenzy of wagging.
Before she could open her mouth a fan screamed out above all the rest, seeming to mute the crowd “We love you Sparkles!” Then everyone copied with all sorts of variations of the same shout, a message that any idol loves to hear after they have performed.
As the microphone was replaced close to her mouth the small woman would wait for a second for her audience to settle. “No, I love all of you more! Seriously thank you for being such a good audience!” Raising her free hand into the air a tremendous bream of light erupted forth and then exploded into hundreds of tiny balls that fluttered down over the stage. “You’ve made coming to the Bliss Kingdom so wonderful! I can’t wait to come back now!” Turning around and letting the curtains close the tail of this petite idol would wag, faster than any normal dogs. She was genuinely happy with this performance. “Remember, Merchandise is on the way out, I’ll be doing a signing tomorrow. There is a star out there for everyone! Just keep looking.”
And with that her performance was over, the small bodied girl would walk off the stage and lick the button on the bottom of her microphone. “I over did the light show guys! Someone get the fires out before everyone out there sees them!” She said before finding a long couch and just letting her body drop onto it. “I think I need to do something to burn the last of this energy.” Sparkles said as she rolled over onto her back and looked up to the ceiling of behind the stage, putting her hand up as if she was reaching for something. Her skin had a glow to it, the same yellow glow that was there before, but now in the dark it was far more noticeable.
“Pup, you just did a three hour show… if you have energy to get a bounty then go by all means. Just don’t burn ya self out, ok?” A voice rang out from the stage, it seemed one of the stage hands could hear her and was trying to keep the girl from burning herself out, again. By now most of the crowd had filtered out of the main hall and was now a mess empty bottles and snack packets. “We’ll have this cleaned up ready for tomorrows signing, you go and cut loose.”
Quickly grabbing the posters that were scattered to the other side of the couch the girl would sigh. “I doubt there is any big fish here. Maybe some pocket money at most.” A few minutes of flicking through papers went by, most of them were small fry not even worth getting out of bed to hunt, there were a few that tempted the young woman but they were still lower than 10 million. The prospect of not even finding someone worth hunting made the performers fluffy ears flop down to a flat position on her head.
And with the last poster her frown turned upside down and the blueish hue she was emitting transformed into a vibrant purple and her ears perked up. “I got one Fred!” She shouted out before leaping out of her chair and onto her feet. Her tail was wagging ecstatically as he smile blessed everyone around her with a quick flash of bright light. “Twenty five Million from this! That’s enough to upgrade the stage with some kick ass lighting and sound!” She shouted out before running towards the back door to slip out. “I’ll be back before midnight!”
Before the door could slam close a shout followed her out. “Shit Sparkles it’s meant to rain tonight!” But that shout fell on death ears as the girl was already running around the building and staring down at her wanted poster… a poster that belonged to the target with a twenty million bounty. The Pirate Princess Melosa.
