Days had passed since Kyou, Erwyn and their new friend Gale had parted ways from Otto. All three equipped with new baby den den mushi's courtesy of their new "leader", which was named so by himself. Either way now they could be considered a real bounty hunting organization. Having rescued, Marcus Isngol, a vital member of the McKay clan by means of destroying the Fish man crew that called themselves Fish Men Forever. Otto's claim to fame was secure well at least here on Pikt now being known on every islet as a brave warrior. It was nice being known for great thing and now it was about time to set sail and be known across the vast sea for the same thing. Yet one thing had bothered the afro headed boy since the day the bunch rescued Marcus.
The men who captured Marcus were for lack of better words IDIOTS. It was true they were bright enough to get Otto and his crew to help them without their knowledge but the whole plan was too smart for them. I mean anyone could trick Otto with the promise of either money, fame or bananas. Perhaps not in that order depending on how hungry he was. "So who set this up?" he says to himself as he sits at the cherry wood desk that sat in the corner of the room.In his posision a book he had made himself containing all the most resent wanted posters, resent with the exception of three Fish-Men that had recently been caught. The boy smirking as he stared down the pictures thinking Man someone should make a real magazine like this with little notes.
He had run into these guys before having taken over an entire city at that point. But who lured them all the way to the north blue with promises of a Fish-Man brethren who was also a master woodworker? Otto knew that before he went out to sea he had to make sure his home would be safe. Not just for the citizens that lived in different clans across the island but for his own family. The adopted family of blue gorillas that he would leave behind with the help of a new student of the Dojo. Otto's one time opponent, having wanted a chance to turn his life around from a life of crime, Ethan Reaver.
The man a pawn in a plot by the Assassins Guild to kill a Clan Head making it look like another clans assassination attempt. After being defeated Ethan traded valued information for an early release with an even larger catch. He must work train and live at the Dojo under Otto's supervision. His sentence ending in another three days plenty of time for Otto to figure out this mystery without involving him. Who knows what could go wrong trying to sneak around with an ex-con.
The young boy shaking his head vigorously letting those thoughts exit his mind. People are people, there's no right or wrong, and who are you to judge him? He thinks to himself his new way of thinking making it easier to do certain task as required by his job. At times it was necessary to do not so legal activities in order to achieve a noble cause. Then again who was Otto to say what was noble or not. His mind wandered with random thoughts the entire night as he remained in his room since dinner till now. The clock reading 3:18 am as the young man drew a red X over the Fish-Man crew's posters writing a small note at the bottom of the posters. Who caught them, Where and When.
The morning sun crept up from the other half of the world just a few hours later. The entire island beginning to rise for the next day, Otto and his estranged family being no different. Even with only a few hours of sleep Otto popping up as the sunlight broke through his window. Waking with a new mission the young man picked at the back and sides of his head with his fingers as he did every morning, slightly puffing of his flattened afro. Tiny pieces of dead hair falling over his bed a he sat and made himself presentable, reaching over to his nightstand retrieving a green t-shirt with a black logo resembling a pine tree with a circle around it. All right I'm good to go he thinks as he raises to his feet and heads out to the kitchen. The sight of three blue gorillas nothing new as the brothers were usually up a bit before Otto and Big Blue their mother was always up at first light.
What was surprising was the large mother over the stove making what smelled like french toast. Not only had she made breakfast, it was a human one, making it clear to see the even she had picked up on human tendencies. Perhaps a good thing considering that soon they would be watching over their new house guest. Otto ran towards the table stuffing a napkin into the collar of his shirt he was ready to start this day but more importantly he was ready to eat.
