The shrill clanking of glass mugs and running water could be heard around the tiny kitchenette. A lone pale figure stood before it, slender hands covered in a pair of rubbery yellow hand garments. The short figure moved her arms deftly, easily scrubbing the pasty orange mug clean, then wiping it dry to join the others on the dish rack. The girl continued these actions several times, scarred arms moving quickly and efficiently in cleaning the dishes. Once finished, the streaming water could be heard dying out until the sound disappeared altogether. Mizuki gave a quick flick of her hands to disperse of the excess liquid, followed by the removal of the yellow rubbery gloves. Pivoting on her left scarred bare foot, the dark haired female turned to face the small motel room. The walls were covered in a yellowing white wallpaper, showing that it was aged for quite some time, it was chipped off in some places as well, revealing that the wall itself was originally painted a light cyan color. It only had one window that showed the signature rolling planes of Cinna Island, however, one could barely see it, considering it was rather late and the sun was down with the moon out to play. The floorboards were a dark pine wood, a bit old but sufficiently younger than the walls and durable. Directly across from the gunslinger lay a petite Japanese futon, with a deep blue padded mattress and matching quilts. Aside from the miniature lamp beside the futon and the kitchenette, the room was quite bare.
The gunslinger moved once more, modest cerulean nightgown swishing around scarred knees, and made her way towards the closed closet door to the right of the room. Calloused feet pitter-pattered towards the clothing department, it's closed sliding doors painted a dark forest green color that surely did not match the blandness of the motel room. Reaching out a slender hand, Mizuki tugged at the sliding door. It didn't budge. The pirate tried once more, adding a bit more force. The door stayed stubbornly shut. Now the slightest of frowns appeared on the pale face, cobalt blue eyes giving a miniscule sparkle. Glancing up she noted the rust build up on the metal sliding area, also remembering how difficult it was to open the entry previously earlier that morning. Releasing a soft sigh, Mizuki contemplated going into Finn's room next door and ask the Don to open it for her. A few moments later, the sound of the sliding door attempted to be pulled open once more indicated that she was not going to ask him, not yet.
There were a few more attempts, which included the dark haired female putting pale feet against the wall and tugging, but she eventually got it open, nearly stumbling into the wall when it opened with a sudden jerk. "This is ridiculous...", she thought, moving her body back into a straight position. Standing on the tips of her toes, the tiny lady reached out and snagged at the silvery khaki trench coat from the upper shelf, pulling it down enough to dig inside one of the inner pockets. It didn't take much time for the pirate to find what she was looking for. Clenching a calloused hand around the tiny object, Mizuki moved back away from the closet and back onto the flats of her feet. The young Kayaku clutched the clenched hand to her chest and trudged her way towards the bathroom, abandoning the closet and its open door. As she moved, the slight sound of her pitter pattering feet could be heard with each footfall. Once inside of the dimly lit lavatory the young one turned on the sink, letting the clean water stream through as she grabbed a small nearby white washrag and began washing her pale face once said washrag was moist.
As the young lady thoroughly cleansed her face, she couldn't stop herself from thinking of why she was here, with Don Finn Bubbles. Vik had instructed the two to lay low of sorts, while he and Ick went off and did....Vik and Ick things. It was only for a few days and he'd mentioned a surprise when they'd return. Sighing as the girl finished scrubbing her face, Mizuki grabbed the object once more from it's resting place and turned around to head back into the main room, flickering the washroom light out. The undersized Kayaku had not particularly happy with the order, instead questioning why they could not just join him. The True Nectar loving man just ignored it and told them to 'behave' on Cinna Island and await his return. Mizuki had no qualms with the Mafia man, but she had not liked the situation. Setting down Bernhardt's gift beside the futon, a small glass dog, the teenager switched off the main lighting of the room, enveloping it in near darkness, leaving the only light to be from the miniature lamp beside the futon. The young lady removed the tie around her hair, releasing the bundled mass of dark blue hair from it's low ponytail. The cobalt blue eyed teen raised her hand and rapped against the wall, a signal to tell Finn she was going to sleep. Just in case the knocking wasn't enough, she called out to him too.
"Goodnight Finn....!"
Mizuki crawled underneath the thick deep blue quilts, at the same time wrapping them around herself in the girl's usual manner of sleeping. There were a few moments of silence as her figure shifted around in the quilts to get comfortable, but once she was, a pale hand reached out from within the build of blankets and pulled the metal cord to turn off the only lighting left, showering the room in total darkness. Twisting her small and slender body to the right, the pirate eyed the glass dog for several moments, with memories and thoughts of Bernhardt, Antoinette, a man with glasses and a woman strikingly familiar. She wasn't sure what happened next, but all the girl knew was that she was really drowsy. Then, darkness.
