Some may fear the darkness, but he embraced it. Staying within his current winged, humanoid form, the zoan-user kept his senses heightened and prepared; observing the situation from Albion’s standpoint for that giant was perhaps the only ally left. Through echolocation, all forms and shapes can be picked up that the eyes may not have detected. The giant remained standing in the waters, trading blows with several gunman and snipers. There was even the sound of pain as the stamina seemed to be draining away from the colossal-sized body. Little by little, each bullet chipped away his vestige of strength to the point where his structure collapsed, falling dangerously close to where the boy stood.
Water drizzled against his face, momentarily disrupting the high frequency sound waves that Pluto emitted. His cat-like ears perked up at the sound of deep and tiring voice. Albion had complimented him in taking down the agent. Even speaking became a struggle as the giant paused every now and then, advising the boy to finish off the rest of the men. And after that, the forty foot tall figure went unconscious from overexerting his body and receiving too many accumulative wounds.
“Well now,” the silhouette glanced amongst the group of men leaving the waters, stepping over the boundary towards solid ground, “I commend you for being able to take down a giant at last.”
A series of clicks echoed within the cavern as the barrels of several guns aimed at the hazy distant voice.
“You’re outnumbered. All of your allies are wiped out now,” one of them reasoned.
“Give up. You can’t win against all of us.”
“If you don’t want to die, move aside, and we’ll be taking the jewel. Of course, I can’t guarantee if Agent Chital will let you live,” another tone said out confidently.
From a single kick forward, a body was hurled through the air and crashed into two of the men standing before him, “Then take a nice long look at whose body that is.”
Only a few of them close by had peeked at the youthful face of a young lady while the others kept their weapons aimed towards the distance. “Impossi-ble… Chital is defeated?” Fluids continued to leak from the woman’s body, but there was no mistaken it. Very faintly, there was still a weak pulse in her body; she was still alive. Her life was spared.
“If you don’t want to die, stay exactly where you are. Of course, I can’t guarantee that I’ll let you live,” he mocked the words that was said to him earlier. Immediately, a wave of bullets flew towards the pile of rocks; Pluto had leapt silently into the air to evade. Wings splayed out, momentarily hovering above as his arms crossed over his chest. Black claws curled on each hand in preparation for the next assault that shall be delivered.
The last amount of ammo had been used up; most of them had been used against Albion, and some were lost in water.
In the motion of an X, he slashed down both hands sharply through the air, unleashing projections of crescent shaped blades of air that dispersed into a barrage of miniature air slashes. “Swarm!” Pluto announced the name of his technique. Scattering and spreading, the myriad of cuts rained down at the group of men.
Screams and cries of agony echoed. Pluto plummeted straight down through the propelling flap of his massive wings, and as he did so, both hands clenched over the cranium of heads, slamming the faces to crash into the rocky terrain that they stood on. Crouching on all four, the zoan-user straightened out his spine as he stood there, gazing at the remaining men that charged at him boldly.
The claws of his wings swung out, attacking at a distance greater than the length of his arm. Blood gushed out from the mark on their chests. Those dark wings flapped backwards, propelling the boy to hover across the ground to close in on his next prey. Anchoring himself with one foot clenching the floor with its claws for toes, his leg stored up the momentum through the swing of a kick that launched a man through the air before slamming into another body.
Violet eyes gleamed towards the vault, “What’s so special about that jewel anyways?”
