The Frost Kingdom. Just one of many populated islands surrounded by the ocean known as the North Blue. However, there was one thing that was made obvious when one made landfall here. There was no frost. In fact, once could hardly call this island cold, at all! It was rather ridiculous, really, that the world would so willingly name an island after a feature that was not even present outside of the winter months. Though, as far as the overall climate was concerned, it was still relatively cold and fitting of the North. Surrounded by high stone walls, the innards of the island seemed so heavily fortified. But whether that was to keep people out, or something in, was yet to be seen. Nevertheless, the tales unfurling upon this not-so-aptly named kingdom would be some of the strangest in existence. One such tale involves a particular "treasure" and the group of astounding warriors who seek it...
"YOU!! ... Are so ridiculously adorable! Yes you are! Oh, yes you are~" Alright. Maybe 'astounding warrior' was not the best description for Meifeng of the Bai Household. Not at first glance, at least. A woman standing five-and-a-half feet tall with skin as white as porcelain and hair the colour of fresh snow, this young lady of noble status had set off on a journey. Abandoning the somewhat extravagant and disciplined life style of her home, the elegant huntress had arrived in the Frost Kingdom in the early hours of the morning. Now it was coming close to noon, but despite that she had failed to make it all that far into the city. The reason why? Cats. She had developed a small obsession with felines, having never owned one nor really even having seen one up close before now. Here in Frost City, however, the domestic moggy was far more commonplace. This probably explained the cleanliness of the citadel and its lack of vermin, save for the inevitable existence of pigeons and seagulls.
"Nyaa~" Meowing softly whilst purring with affection, a small tortoiseshell cat was currently being petted by the hand of the bounty huntress dressed in scarlet, ivory and jade. Squatting there on the side of the street, people passing her by as they enjoyed the mild yet sunny weather, Meifeng was absolutely entranced by the cat. Running her fingers across its head and back, through its soft and fluffy fur, feeling the subtle tremble of a purr in her hand. It was something new to her, though she was more than willing to enjoy every second of it, no longer pestered by her father's servants and benefactors. No more 'Milady, you are required to do this' or 'Milady, your presence is requested here'. No. She could do it all at her own pace, and that's exactly what she intended to do. As the feline nuzzled her palm with its warm, moist nose, she could feel its whiskers tickling her flesh. There was something oddly elegant and refined about the way cats acted, and perhaps her nobility was what drew her to them? Give them affection and they would return the favour, but otherwise they would go about their business with little care for human interaction. Unfortunately, despite her feline fascination, Miss Bai was fully aware she had come here to take care of business. Though she held pride in the fact that she called herself a bounty hunter, she could hardly consider herself one of worth until she turned in an actual bounty.
"My apologies, but I have a previous engagement to which I must attend. Farewell, little kitty." After giving her small and furry friend a quick pat on the head to say goodbye, Meifeng rose to her feet and continued on her path into the depths of the city. For the most part, all she could see were market stalls and shops selling various necessities. It was a relatively busy place, people moving back and forth to purchase food and clothes and other supplies. One could see quite a clear distinction between the people when it came to shopping habits, however. Many simply gathered around local food stores, but a select few seemed to spend their time around restaurants of higher class. Just like her home of Windia (more commonly known as Flat Farm Island), there were the rich and there were the poor. It seemed that the farther out one went, the less fortunate the people became, but the clever use of a large passage leading from the port and into the middle band meant that visitors such as herself never had to set foot or lay eyes upon the impoverished outskirts. Clever, but at the same time rather cruel.
Nikolai 'The Priest' Oleson. A man whose head is worth twenty two million beri, dead or alive. I hate to admit it, but, such a price is still rather low considering he's a wanted man... Walking through the streets and further into the middle of the town, the noble maiden now held in her hands a piece of pale brown paper upon which a photograph had been printed. Analysing it with sapphire eyes, her mind picked and puzzled at the features shown upon the image, trying to build a better picture of the man behind the face. Fortunately, she had become quite a fan of murder mystery novels during her late teens, having successfully identified the killer in a couple of stories before the reveal. Though, this was not a story. This was the real life, not some fantasy. Things would be different.
"I would imagine him to be the... resourceful type? Intelligent and cunning, but not infallible. The kind of man who plans out everything in adv- Awwwww! So cute!" Thinking aloud as she strolled yet deeper through the town, her gait so very refined and practised to such lengths that it would remain rhythmic yet modestly feminine, the white-haired woman soon found her thoughts abandoned in favour of something far more beautiful. Another cat. A ginger tabby with white around its paws which resembled cotton socks, the friendly feline possessed a distinct white patch upon the side of its head that encircled its left ear and eye.
"Oh, I'm sorry, but I must concentrate. Maybe we shall meet again?" Leaning down and giving the cat a quick scratch behind the ear, something she had read that cats loved, Meifeng quickly proceeded to leave the cat behind.
Now... Perhaps this man is the type to have others do his work for him? It would make sense given his epithet. I could imagine the less moral types in need of money would willingly join his cause if he offered payment for their services. A manipulative criminal under the guise of a charismatic leader... Confining her deductions to her thoughts, the serene swordswoman's eyes narrowed as she stared into the dark hues portrayed on the poster in her hands. The face of a man wearing a monocle and smoking a pipe stared back at her, head decorated by a thick brown mane and fiery facial hair, both neatly groomed. Folding the parchment neatly and stowing it within the pocket of her cheongsam, Bai Meifeng took a deep breath. The still eyes of a calculative man told many things, but they did not give away where the man himself was to be found. From some research, she had discovered that his last sighting was rather recent. Sedna. That island was around twenty miles away from the Frost Kingdom, so he could not be far. If anything, a wanted man would want to find somewhere to lay low. A base of operations. The issue was that the bounty hunter had not the foggiest idea of how to find Oleson, but the long curved sword on her back reassured her that she would overcome whatever challenges she may need to face...

Alright, let's get rolling!
Unfortunately, when I tried to find Oleson's bounty poster I found that it had been deleted. Lucky for me I remember what he looked like and (more importantly) remembered his bounty.
