The glistening lights of the vast entertainment complex that was Sereine City sparkled nearby. The people within could be heard even from the road, the chaos and hedonism a heavy draw for most. Conversely, Flynn found the entire thing rather distasteful. The Marine Doctor was one for a book, or perhaps a nice meal. The loud, wild clubs, casinos, and courtesans of this town held no appeal. Still, that didn't mean he had no reason to be here....
Rifling through his pockets, Flynn managed to locate his desired object. A bounty poster, a tad faded, and bearing the picture of a young man, around the age of the marine. His hair was a silvery-blue, and his eyes held a similar shade of blue. Except for the sea-tanned hue of his skin, he was actually not that different in appearance from the longarm. This gave him an idea, actually.... But more important things to consider first.
The cyborg had come to Amino Island to find the man on this Bounty Poster. Loec, The Laughing Pirate, one of the former members of the Destiny Pirates... and the holder of a 12,000,000 beri bounty. Turning the poster over, the marine consulted his notes on the back. Really, the biggest things he had to worry about, The man's Devil Fruit, and the knife throwing. He hadn't been able to locate much info on the man, but his bounty writeup had mentioned the man shattering objects with his hands, and throwing his two knives VERY accurately.
With a frown, the man gave a flex of his arms, considering. He hadn't fought many ranged weapon users before, and the shattering ability could give him trouble. Hopefully the ability was, as the scientist suspected, limited to the pirate's hands. That would make this quite simple indeed. If not, well... that was what his new gadget was for. Flynn could still feel the scars from the implementation surgery twinge a bit if he moved too fast. They were healed enough, however, for him to be able to fight.
As the marine entered the city, he adopted a concerned look, a quite convincing one, and after some quick crowd scanning, stopped a older woman and her husband. "Excuse me, ma'am?" The look on his face was one of pure worry and stress "My brother, he became a pirate. The Marines are after him, and I want to convince him to stop. Have you seen him?" Proffering the poster, the longarm grinned mentally. The resemblance was close enough, and people were suckers for a sob story. He just had to hope nobody who knew the pirate well enough to be sure he didn't have a brother heard about this.
