It had been about three days since Tayzo set sail from Karate Island, in order to pursue his dream of traveling the world. In order to go on this voyage, Tayzo had to leave everything about becoming a marine behind, and that even included his parents. They wouldn't find out about his choice until another year, but even with it so far off, Tayzo still felt as if he should go back now, so that he wouldn't disappoint his family. "No", he said. "I can't second guess my choices. It is time for me to decide my own destiny". Unbeknownst to him though, his father had come home almost a year early, and had learned the truth about his kid. He was now on his way to bring Tayzo home, whatever the cost.
He continued to sail his small boat through the waters. Up ahead he could make out the view of an island in the distance, and what looked like a huge tree sticking up from the island and reaching to the heavens. "Finally, three days and all I've seen is water!" He picked up an ore and rowed faster until he reached the shore, which was really just a bunch of huge rocks. He had to slow down or he would've wrecked himself. After tying his boat down, he climbed up the rocks and stared up into the bright sun, trying to see how high that huge tree reached, but he couldn't. "You don't see trees that huge ever-" Tayzo was abruptly cut off as he felt claws grip onto his shoulders, and he was hoisted into the air in one swift motion.
"What the heck?!" Tayzo almost cried out as the claws dug deeper into his shoulders. He turned his head, and was able to make out a huge colorful bird, and the claws turned out to be talons instead. The bird was flying higher and higher up, close to the huge tree. It must have a nest here meaning... "You're trying to eat me!!" Tayzo's instincts kicked in, and he swung his leg up over his head, kicking the bird right in the beak. The bird was caught off guard, and with a loud squawk, it dropped Tayzo mid-air. He went free falling toward the ground. He brought out his bladed tonfas from their sheathes on his sides. He shoved them both into the tree, cutting right through it, slowing down his fall. He hung on as he reached the ground, then pulled his weapons out of the tree and made a run for it. "This place, it must be Torino Kingdom! I read about this place in my studies. The birds here...they rule the humans! Gotta get outta here!" He dashed toward the rocky shores, his adrenaline pumping him with excitement. He was almost tempted to turn around and fight the bird, but he didn't. He burst from the trees and saw his boat. He stopped for a second. "Wow that bird brought me pretty far in." He shook his curiosity off, which was something always pricking him as he loved to learn, and continued down the rocky shore.
