It was slowly becoming evening and the tides were starting to roll back into the beaches of Port West, bringing with them a bound, seemingly lifeless body. Lacey was of course that body, she had luckily found herself washed up on the shore after the ship transporting her to Impel Down was met with a messy end. The girl, now out of the water began to come around a little, coughing up the water she inevitably swallowed, unfortunately with her mouth shut tight with the wire, the salty water blasted from her nose in a painful manner. Once able, she pushed herself up in the sand and looked out over the sea, the realisation that she was finally free sinking in, sitting there she began to just giggle loud as she could given her oral situation. She slowly pushed herself to her feet, stumbling back a little as she continued to giggle merrily.
”Free, finally! Haha! Seven long years… I will pay them back tenfold! Prepare yourselves for me, marines!”
First thing was first though, she would need to be released from her sea stone hell, the wires sewn into her mouth played that role, some sort of genius plan by a sick scientist a few years back after Lacey became quite good at talking ineptly and rambling about nothing to no one. She looked down at her feet and huffed, with the sea stone in place she would be fine and all but she would need to have the wires removed away from wood, the second it wasn’t touching her body, she would revert back to instability regarding wood so shoes were something she would need to think about.
Now on her weakened legs, she took the time to check out the area, she could clearly see she was on a part of the island cut from a town, no ships could be seen coming or going, she would need to walk and that was going to take a while. She shuffled herself along the golden sands, talking to herself about how many different ways she could kill a marine, quite lost in the thought process she didn’t notice to much of the world around her other than the ever approaching tide.
