So, there's a problem I have, its not a huge problem mind you but it is a problem all the same. More specifically this problem has to do with the way my characters look.
You see, I've always been the kind of person that believes a character should be able to tell a story from the way they look and present themselves, a sort of Sherlock Holmes approach to how you would normally view a character. Perhaps they have a pair of old sneakers that they keep repairing because it holds a special connection to them, perhaps they wear dog tags but hide them away because something happened in their past, or perhaps they're represented as a defiant character by having ripped some of their clothing or modified it away from the norm.
This said when I create characters I often find myself with the distinct disadvantage of not being able to find anything that closely resembles what I want the character to be. In anime roleplay particularly my character has a look that I just can't get rid of, so out of this came the need for me to learn how to draw.
Now I've never been the best artist, I know in my heart what I do wrong and in time I will address my shortcomings. But I like to think I'm decent, decent enough not to get laughed off the internet because of my pictures at the very least. So in that light I needed to make a picture for my newest character Connie, just so I could have a visual reference of what she looks like.
Be warned its not very clean, there's some major problems with the perspective, but I it does give a good idea as to what she looks like. So without further poo doo:
