Ah! The great wonder of adventure! The fuel behind the fire of the great pirate age is that burning yearning to experience new things and to follow ones dreams! Myoshin expected his first adventure to be some grand tale like the ones Grandpa Gangyan shared with him over the last two years but so far it had turned out to be quite embarrassing. Myoshin and his brother both ignorant in even the simplest means of navigation got into a disagreement and the two decided to do exactly what their grandfather had forbid them to do. They went their separate ways both thinking that their respective paths would lead to the closest island a mere day away. Unfortunately Myoshin had been wrong and this was now his third day swimming and by this point he wasn't even sure that he was still going the same direction that he started off in.
Finally about noon Myoshin surfaced, popping his head out of the water with a slight splash to see an island in the distance. His strange protruding mouth smiled a wide toothy grin as he lifted his arms in joy, "Finally! My road to becoming to worlds greatest shipwright starts on this island!" Overcome with optimistic joy Myoshin checked the pistols and katana strapped to his waist by a sash and most importantly the pair of gloves tucked into the sash and tied to it with a string. He made sure they all were fastened and tied tightly before letting his grin subside into a confident smirk while slowly submerging back into the water. Once fully beneath the surface of the water Myoshin took off as fast as his fishman body would take him speeding towards the land mass at max speed.
