As the crew dined and enjoyed their merriment, Silo performed his full roster of party tricks.
"Okay, okay, okay. Form of....WATERMELON!"
The cuttlefish wotan changed the colour of his skin while curling up into a ball. He now had dark green skin with wavy stripes of lime green. He had to admit, he was pretty good at imitations. While his nakama laughed at his impressions, Silo wondered what thing he would become next. Before he could suggest anything else, however, Alek silenced them all with some bad news. The cyborg had been talking to Mathus previously, so the first part of his captain's speech was a little out of context for the pirate.
"You still want more food?" asked Alek, disbelieving. He heard a small cry, one that didn't match the voices of his nakama. "Well maybe if you survive this battle, the marines are here."
Alek delivered the news with a grim disposition. The naval forces had arrived at the wrong time, ruining their meal and forcing the new nakama to fight, once again, for their lives.
"CHESS PIRATES GO!" roared Alek.
The wotan got up and exited the kitchen. Picking up four hatchets, Silo nodded solemnly to everyone else. There were no need for words. The message was understood.
See you on the other side
As his captain scouted the trouble Silo waited patiently below deck. Before Alek returned he decided to be a little adventurous. Changing his skin's colour again to blend in with that of the ship's surroundings, Silo moved up onto the deck. He surfaced just as a group of marines passed. They didn't seem to notice him. Thinking quickly, Silo rushed them, using the attack "Superboom". The marines, as if struck by an invisible force (Silo is just very hard to see, not invisible), flew off of the caravel ship before they could react.
Score one for the White Queen
