Interestingly enough he saw a cage form around him from the ground and he could only remember one person capable of something like that. Inwardly he groaned; he had hoped he would never see “that” character again, but even as he felt slight dismay over the fated meeting the voice came,
"Alright give me answers. I'm tired, your causing ruckus, and I'm about to kick some ass. And don't think about escaping on a ship" said the stranger,
“F*ck…” Jack groaned mentally while his face drooped in irritation.
“Sorry, buddy normally I’d happily give a good a*s whoopin’, but right now I ain’t got time for this sh*t” he said with a smile as he rose his palm and blasted a sound wave out of one side of the cage causing the gnarled roots to shatter into pieces from the force. Wasting no time he leaped out of the cage in a rolling landing and clambered near the Frigate he had chosen before; he had to get out of here before--
“Will anyone else be joining us, Jack?” asked the man who had identified himself as Jubalique; apparently the man was a helmsman which dispersed one of Jack’s innate worries when he suggested the Frigate. His eyes flicked back to the girl, who had punched the dog into the air when suddenly a bullet whizzed by his head and the crowd began to scatter. The Marines were finally here,
“ALL YOU ARE NOW CLASSIFIED AS DANGEROUS INDIVIDUALS AIDING A WANTED MAN!” a voice announced over a megaphone,
“DESIST IMMEDIATELY TO AVOID FURTHER IMPLICATION FOR YOU CRIMES” came the command.
Half turning his head Jack saw that there were at least 50 men on the roof with rifles not to mention the brigade that now blocked their path back into the heart of the kingdom; the only place they had left to go was to the sea. Calmly he walked to a crate where he had left 1.5 million beri in a sack and he could hear as the rifles on the roof as well as the ground clicked in preparation. Lines around his mouth deepened as he scowled and even his eyes cast dark shadows on his brown skin; they weren’t going to make this easy,
“This is it!” he shouted into the wind,
“…we’ve all been doin’ meaningless things until we came together, right? For the brief time that some of us have been acquainted with each other we’ve had the time of our lives…so here’s yer chance: Will you make it last or end?” he piped down now. The time for words had passed. Only actions would follow tossing the shopkeeper the money, he faced the Marines that had now cleared the area of civilians,
“YOU MARINE DOGS!” he heckled the man,
“..THIS IS THE DANCING BLADE PIRATES, REMEMBER THAT NAME WELL!” he said raising both his hands into the air. Squinting his eyes tightly he concentrated hoping that it would work. And then he felt it; an eruption of sound exploded from the center of his palms smashing into the Marine forces on the ground as well as causing the buildings were a few were perched to shake. Taking advantage of his good fortune he leaped to the side of the Frigate where a rope was hanging and began climbing his way up until he was at the top with the helmsman. There wasn’t much time before the Marines resumed their attack. Pointing at Jubalique he shouted,
“Get to the wheel and get ready to steer this thing outta here!”
Now it was matter of who would manage to make it on to the ship and who was to be captured by the Marines.
