The Rise of a Pirate - OPEN TO ALL

It was a beautiful cloudy day for Jin Sparrow. He was finally about to carry out his dream of becoming a pirate. But before he could do that there were a few things he had to do first. Jin had made a list of things he needed before he could become one. Since he always been quite smart, the first thing he needed was combat skills, second thing he needed was beri, third and final thing he needed was a boat and food. Over the seven years of chasing his dream he had everything except for a boat and beri. He had enough food for himself for a three day trip, but the only reason he had that was because he stole it from the villagers' homes.

Passing by a bar's window, Jin stopped and looked at his reflection. Jin really didn't have a pirate's face. He had golden brown skin, clean silky hair that look as if it was silver. Not mention his innocent face and hazel eyes. But if Jin didn't physically looked like a pirate he sure did dress like one. Wearing a dark brown hat, with matching trousers and trench coat. Not to mention his black and brown leather boots.

Jin came to a halt as if he saw something that startled him. He was starring up at the the Marine's HQ. He knew that there was a dock where all the ships were and he planned to go steal one. "If I don't do this now I'll never do it." Jin had made up his mind. He was going to steal a Marine's Basic Ship and no one was gonna stop him. Jin continued walking straight towards the base's entrance. "Well why didn't he tried to sneak in and go around?" Well Jin had no sense of danger, therefore he feared nothing and was going to go straight for the obstacles and maneuver pass them.

When he approached the entrance of the HQ there were two guards present, each holding a rifle. That, however; did not phase Jin he simply ignored them and tried to go between them.

"Sir HQ is off limits to outsiders." The Marines had crossed their rifles in front of his path, cutting off the entrance.

A smirked spread across the outsider's face. He reached for his sabers on his back. "Lunar Moon!" Within a second he sliced the men's rifles in halves and continued walking.

"Who is that guy?" One of the Marines asked the other. The guy only gave him an "I don't know" expression. "Well who ever he is, he's going to pay." Without wasting any more time the marine unsheathed his saber and attempted to cut the trespasser in the back.

Using his ears and his senses Jin simply predicted the marine's move and was a step ahead. Before the blade could touch his back he elbowed the man between his eyes sending him down on his back. Next thing he know, the sirens went off. The fallen marine's partner had ringed the alarmed and marine officers were flooding in everywhere. "Dangit! Why me?" Jin grunted as he realized that he had no other choice but to fight. He tried to reason with them anyway though. "Listen up guys! I don't wanna fight you so why won't you all just go on about your business and leave me alone..." He held up his fingers "...I'll give you the count of ten to run away....1....2....3..." Before he count another number shots were fired at his chest. The bullets had made it's target but only to simply knocked off his body. The marines panicked and about six of them charged at him with their swords. "Cutting Edge!" Slicing through the air with his sabers, the wind he created with his swords sliced the marine's chest. The wound were deep but not lethal. "Get out of my way!" Jin held his head down and charged forward at full speed slicing at anyone who had gotten in his way. He rushed toward the Marines' docks leaving behind about 50 marine soldiers.

Jin quickly glanced over the marine fleet and found a basic ship. Grinning to himself he concealed his sabers and approached the ship. He walked around the whole ship examining it's cannons and size. "Hold it right there bud!" The voice was coming from the ship, but before Jin could look up to the person's face he saw a cannon which was fired within ten feet flying straight for his torso. Booooommm!!!!! The explosion echoed through out the base. The marine was looking at the spot where Jin was standing and smiled to himself. As the smoke cleared Jin was standing there unharmed with a cannon ball sized hole in his torso. The hole started to fill up with white clay as his body returned normal. The marine was horrified and speechless. Jin starred the marine dead in the eyes looking angrier than ever. "Boo!" His simply said "Boo" and the marine went crazy screaming histerically and jumped of the ship running away at his mercy. "Hahaha! Jin laughed aloud to himself. "Boy I crack myself up." He wiped a tear from his eye. But then a voice from behind said, "How about I crack a few bones instead." Jin turned around and came face to face with 3 assassins. It was pretty obvious since they all were dressed in a black ninja outfit.

"Well these guys definitely don't seem weak like those small fry back there." Jin frowned "Clay Clay Blades" His hands transformed into two clay white katanas.

Sousouke had sent the ninja squad ahead of him because he didn’t feel the need to deal with small time nuisances before he finished his dinner. Of course he had become aware of the stranger’s presence long before the attack had begun, but he hadn’t believed that anyone would be so foolish as to blatantly attack the Marine HQ by themselves. As he chewed on delicious beef bouillon, he caught sight of a few of his subordinates looking at him nervously and he gently placed the fork down on the well ornamented plate and wiped his mouth.

“Alright, alright” he caved as he went over and rubbed the two Petty officers heads; of all the members the invaded had defeated only two of them were more than Seaman recruits, but that being said defeating a Marine officer in general wasn’t something that normal citizens did. Walking calmly to a glass case, Sousouke wiped his hands with the nearby handkerchief and opened the case revealing a gleaming saber. The blade was coated with Kairouseki which coupled with Sousouke’s exceptional swordsmanship earned him the name, “Sousouke, the Devil Slayer”

While he had no intention of taking up such a vulgar mantle the kind faced man simply sheathed his weapon at his hilt and made his way downstairs where the ninja ops had just confronted a silver haired boy,

“And what have we here?” asked Sousouke without a hint of animosity in his voice. Opening his arms in a welcoming gesture he addressed the boy in a friendly manner,

“Instead of attacking the base, why don’t pups like you simply ask for what you want? Surely, I have no problem giving it to you” he explained with a pained expression on his face as he stared at the innocent looking child before him.

Jin smirked at the three assassins shaking his head. "Tisk, tisk why would I bother?" His Clay Clay blades transformed back into it's original state. Jin considered his powers as his secret weapon and only a few have seen it before, but they were no longer breathing. Instead, the seventeen year old boy pulled out his two short wide golden handle sabers. The name of them were unknown to him, he had stolen them off of some sorry excuse for a captain. The smile on the boy's face was friendly. This is what killed his enemies.
Two of the ninjas ran at the sides of him unsheathing their katanas. "What a bother.." They boy saw this coming. "Cutting Edge" He swung his swords at the ninjas but he wasn't in reachnig. Instead a wind slashed at them both, splitting their torsos open. Before he could attack the third one who seemed like the leader a Marine Captain had came out the building. He gave the officer a non-enthusiastic look. "You know I tried that once.I asked my mom for a galleon but she said I was too young."

It made him smile; this young man’s striking sense of individuality brought joy to Sousouke on a day that he had thought would simply be another dull adventure in East Blue. Blinking slowly the man wasn’t even fazed by the defeat of his subordinates,

“Now then, how should I rank your strength?” he wondered aloud with a serious expression on his face. Tipping his glasses carefully using only his index finger and thumb he watched this boy with a curious smile. His white marine jacket slung loosely on his shoulders swayed from the slight movement as its owner mulled over a situation that he was going to enjoy to the utmost extent. Finally dropping his hands limply to his sides, the captain walked towards the young intruder purposefully; his peripherals catching the damage that his underlings had suffered at the hands of this person. It’s fine, they won’t die, but we should definitely fortify this bases' strength sometime, he sullenly assessed.

“I would say that you’re about the same level as a Chief Petty Officer,” he informed his visitor with a warm smile.

“So-”, Sousouke continued, but this time his voice came from behind the unsuspecting young man. Glancing over his shoulder at the intruder with a smile still hugging his face, Sousouke continued,

“…what would a weak fellow like you expect to happen when he storms HQ like this?” he asked with a implicative tone. The silver hilt of saber glinted through the rays of light that broke through the damaged parts of the building and Sousouke couldn’t help wishing that he had found someone with a bounty head.

" A Chief Petty Officer eh?" Jin said with a sly smirk. Jin was use to this treatment by now. Because of his age and appearance he looked harmless. However though it didn't bother Jin, he liked seeing their face after he beats them. Jin was always underestimated like other people his age such Straw Hat Luffy. Jin sighed as he sheathed his sabers. "I just came here to steal a ship that's all." The he mentioned it made it sound like it wasn't a big deal. Ignoring the officer, Jin made his way toward the ship he was inspecting earlier. "Oh yeah I got a question." The stopped beside the officer. "If my rank of strength is a Chief Petty Officer, then what's yours?" He tilted his hat downward hiding his eyes in the shadow of his hat; with that same sly smirk on his face.

Sousouke could see that the boy’s confidence hadn’t wavered in the least bit at the subtle demonstration of his skill and again he found himself amused by the witty young man that had stepped into his territory. As the boy walked past him towards the shipping docks the man watched carefully; he wasn’t going to let this boy have his way, but he wasn’t going to use unnecessary force either,

“You have the wrong idea, my small friend” he answered as a lock of hair came out of place and draped itself over the brown rimmed glasses of his.

“Chief Petty Officer is a lot further than most normal people get in the Marine, in fact to gain a rank would be something of great accomplishment” he explained in a thorough manner while slowly walking in the direction that Jack had gone,

“Unfortunately at your level you would only die at my hands,” he morosely stated; he didn’t want to have to kill the boy, but he knew that there superior officers would never accept it if he allowed a lone intruder to take a Marine ship while he were on duty. He had to consider his promotion was at stake after all. Rubbing his temple from the undue stress that came with having to take a life simply because it was considered justice frustrated him yet again. When he looked back up at the silver haired pirate his eyes had darkened with resolve; the kind hearted man had grown into a lion in mere seconds.

“…the hands of a Captain is what I mean, kid” Sousouke warned with a shadow casting evilly over his face at that moment. His eyes were impossible to read because his glasses filled with the light from outside, but the change in his demeanor had changed as his left hand already had taken its place wrapped around the hilt of his saber.

Jin walked up to the marine ship and started to rub the side of it. His mind wasn't on the Marine Captain, he didn't want to hurt him unless he got in his way.

"A Chief Petty Officer, well don't get offended or anything. But being compared to a Chief Petty Officer is insulting to me." They boy looked back at the captain grinning. "Nice saber you got there. I own to myself." Jn was smiling friendly as he pointed at the saber the captain was grasping. "You should be careful though, someone might steal." Placing his hand under his chin, the boy observed the saber. "Oh yeah where's my manners?" He slapped himself upside the head. "My name is Jin Sparrow." The friendly boy held out his hand. Jin never feared danger, even when he knows it's near. Instead of taking precaution he'd put on his friendly but cocky attitude. He can't help it though it's who he is.

Again, against his better judgment Sousouke found himself charmed by the naivety of the young man, who had now introduced himself as Jin Sparrow. Sousouke stared thought at the ceiling,

“For some reason for a moment there I almost wanted to hear you say that your name was Jack Sparrow” he chortled to himself as the flowing white Captain’s jacket hovered behind him like a shadow. Coughing to clear himself of any of the amiable air that had existed until this point, the Captain addressed the young man with a voice of soft spoken authority for the first time,

“I will ask you only once. I need you to evacuate the base or sit down awaiting capture. If you would choose the first I would be much relieved, but…” he murmured as his eyes closed and the edge rung intently in his next few words,

“Should you feel the urge to touch that ship again, young or old pirate…I simply have to remove the hand that tempts you so much” he offered with a tone of sincerity despite the seriousness of the conversation. The last of his words sat heavy on his chest because he was in the middle of an excellent meal, but no matter how easily a victory was assured the man could never bring himself to eat heartily after slaying a victim; especially once so cute.

Jin bursted out laughing at the Captain's option. "Man you're funny, but I didn't ask you if I can leave with your ship, I asked for your name. Are you stupid or something?" Jin said with a cheer smile. Jin was the type of person that loves annoying the hell out of people. After all it's human nature to him to annoy some one he don't like.

Jin began to rubbed the ship again despite that Captain's warning. Looking out of the corner of his eyes, "So you're basically saying that you'll kick my ass if I touch this ship." This time he had a different look in his eyes. It was an evil sinister look in his eyes, as he smiled from ear to ear, sorta like a pyschotic serial killer. He held the look for a few seconds and busted out laughing again. "Naw man I'm just foolin' with ya." He was laughing so hard that his side had started to hurt and his eyes began to water. Wiping a tear from his eyes Jin all of a sudden became serious. "But honestly though, I sorta like you, and I'm sure other people do too, but please consider this: If you get in my way I'll kill you." This time he was serious, it was written all over his face. There was no sign of a smile and his eyes showed signs that he was calm and confident. "So what do ya' say Capt'n? You gonna leave me alone, or just end up getting killed for something you could've avoided?"

Now he was getting a bored with the young man’s blind bravery and it this conversation had taken him well past his time to eat the meal. Now he was certain that he would have to warm the food over in order to save its savor taste. Sousouke’s eyes narrowed to slits as he walked towards Jack, this time without a word unsheathed his saber with his right hand. Axe-hand Morgan had made this place a laughing stock when he allowed himself to be defeated by Monkey D. Luffy, but Sousouke remembered how quickly that person had risen to the forefront of the pirate world. It bothered him that this small boy could also do the same despite his appearance and level of intellect.

His eyes peered down into Jack and suddenly his entire figure disappeared. A cloud of smoke was the only indication that there had been a man in that spot at all. Meanwhile Sousouke felt the strain of his high speed movement on his muscles as he reappeared behind Jin,

“Soru” he stated calmly before lifting the saber out to his right side and in a swift movement slashed at Jin’s 5th vertebrae in hopes that he could cripple the young boy without his having to do anymore damage. Since the saber was covered in Kariouseki, he knew that the devil fruit powers would be completely ineffective against his slash.

“Morning…Glory!” he announced the name of his attack as the slash movement finally ended with his back was facing towards Jin. The entire assault had taken less than two seconds and Sousouke craned his neck to see if the boy had managed to retain the figure of a human being after that attack. His epithet was given to him because of his tendency to overestimate his opponent and he hoped that he didn’t do it here. Eating after rinsing blood from your skin was one of his pet peeves.

Before the Captain could even react, Jin automatically knew what was next. He easy read his opponents and had this one down pack. Just by the brief meeting of this character Jin could tell that he was impatient, had a bad temper, and was very strict.

The quick speed was indeed impressive to Jin, but his attack was obvious and expected. Jin had seen a good bit of people who were just as fast, or even faster. So he was somewhat use to it and able to match it. The captain's speed seemed normal to him, but unexpected. He didn't have the chance to move quick enough in time, but his eyes saw his moments at a normal rate and he was able to parry the attack with his saber just in time.

The captain had his back towards him as if he thought Jin was already through for. The boy wasn't too much pleased. Yawning at the captain's skills, "Glory my ass. What kinda Captain you're suppose to be? I'm not one of your Chief Petty Officers you know?" Jin gripped his other saber on his back with his right hand. "Just let me show you what I got." The boy speed was also fast, in less than one second his moved in front of the captain and swung at his head with his left hand, and at his torso with his right saber. Using his quick speed the attack all happened in just one point five seconds. The attack was impossible to block and was hard to dodge since there were two swords coming at him at the very fast rate. He was bound to get cut by one of them.

“Really?” Sousouke smiled, “…who said that my attack actually had to strike you for it to work?” he asked as he used Soru once again to vanish at a high speed from his opponent's sight just before managed to strike away a dangerous angled blade from his opponent's assault.

By nature Sousouke was not a swordsmen since his blade was actually directed by his own cursed fruit. Stepping lightly upon the ground he pointed the tip of his blade through the small pirate with one closed as if he were aiming the saber in a specific direction. After several moments of silence Sousouke chuckled to himself once again as it appeared another pirate had chosen to foolishly underestimate him,

“Well Jin-kun, I supposed there is no reason to keep you in the dark any longer,” he explained with his hands placed upon his hips and in a very light tone of voice. The Captain harbored no ill will towards the rambunctious young man, but as a Marine it was his duty to subdue such blatant threats to the peace.

“My saber is coated with the power of the sea which allows it to slice through that clay body of yours should it strike, but that isn’t my greatest power…,” he slowed his speech dramatically because he knew this would be the pivotal information in the young lad’s struggle to stay alive against him,

“My true power comes from the use of the Noroi-Noroi no mi…” he candidly stated with a modest shrug as his eyes peered into the young man before him with a smile that was less than amiable; the smile that a devious man gets when his opponent has unwittingly stepped in to his trap,

“As you will notice a small scope like mark has appeared upon a specific spot on your back…the power of the Curse-Curse fruit is that any attack from this point on that I focus my mind upon will strike you in that specific area with 100% accuracy,” he finished darkly,

“…in other words this is not a contest of skill…this is target practice, my dear pirate reject”

Jin crossed his blades in an "X" formation to block the attack. He suddenly realized that he had to take obviously take this guy seriously. "One hundred percent accuracy eh?" The boy thought about the statement the Marine made. "Well then I'll just have to one hundred percent block your attacks." The way he said it made it sound like it was simple, but he knew how serious things were now. This fight isn't just about target practice, to win it I must use my brain and find an advantage. "Hilarious Bomb!" The boy threw a purple bomb into the Captain's face as it exploded. Holding his breath he escaped from the smoke. The captain's laughter would be heard over throughout the base. The bomb would take effect even if the Captain used his Soru. From what Jin noticed he can't travel too far using it, and he would at least get one whiff from it if he did managed to escaped; which is all that is needed.

(OOC: The bomb effects will last for 2 full posts. You're laughing painfully and uncontrollably.)

Unexpectedly from his gut rumbled an insatiable desire to laugh and despite the Captain’s best efforts he began chortling uncontrollably as he inhaled some of the strange gas that came from Jin’s bomb,

“H-how..*tee hee* unsettling…*haha* …I guess you aren’t just…*guffaw* a pirate in name after all” he stammered while trying to quell the effects of the gas. Although he hadn’t expected Jin to be quite so crafty he remained calm since he knew that no matter how much the boy bluffed there wasn’t any possible way to block all of his attacks; Sousouke wasn’t the kind of man to explain his ability to someone who believed actually had a shot at blocking it. He would bide his time though and see how much ability this young pirate possessed.

“H-here *haha* I come” he giggled as he broke into a sprint towards Jin; he counted on the boy mostly using his sabers to defend any attack that Sousouke used with his own weapon, but he wondered if he could take advantage of the kid’s eagerness.

As he came close to Jin his laughter rang aloud through air and the man quickly slid onto his back so that he skidded upon the dirt ground towards the intruding pirate. Using this vantage point he would force Jin to focus on him while he were on the ground, but his attack would still be aimed at the 5th vertebrae which had been cursed. Pointing his saber straight into the air as he was about to slid between Jin’s legs Sousouke loosened his grip upon the saber to allow his ability to work its magic. No matter how much he shifted his body if he was still within range of the attack he would be forced to block it which is when the Captain would strike. A feeble strategy on my standards, but it should be interesting thought Sousouke.

As the saber came within an inch of his body, the boy quickly jumped into the air. "Woah! What's with you aiming for the goods like that!" The boy yelled at the laughing man, while a bead of sweat rolled down the side of his face.

Nevermind that Jin, this your perfect opportunity to do some damage. He pulled a golden pistol from behind and fired six automatic shots at his target while he was falling down over in an arch movement. It was impossible for him to dodge or even block them all. The gun fired bullets slightly faster than a normal, and not to mention the man was practically laughing his spleen out.

Landing on his feet, standing about eight feet behind the marine; Jin blew the smoke from his golden pistol, twirled it in his hand and place it behind him in his pants. In order to win this fight I'm must take control every situation. But how can I do this? Jin had to prepare for his next move, he only had a minute left before the bomb's effects would wear off. The boy grabbed his sabers.
