My, my, now this seems lively, doesn't it~?
Now, let's see, where are we? Humming to herself as she took a moment to catch her breath and collect herself on what had been something of a bust morning thus far, a raven haired lass in a red skirt found herself laden with bags hanging from each arm full of shopping which she had collected thus far, though doesn't seem particularly bothered by that fact as she pulls out a note and mentally checked off everything she has gotten up to this point from it.
Yes, only a few more things, right? Satisfied to see her not so little list of supplies was nearly at an end, though more so because she was eager to get back to the training she had waiting for her back at the dojo, Ellie Edwards smiled to herself at the feeling of being so very efficient thus far, and then eyed the last stop on this little journey around the stands that lined the port; a little market stall that sells the perfect polish for the boards in the great hall.
"Why, shopping for them again, Ellie?
With this, and all the cooking and cleaning you've been doing, I'm starting to think I'm missing out?
You're not looking for a husband, are you?"

More than familiar with the owner by this point as well given how frequent her visits had seemed to be to this seaside shopping spot in the time she had been here, the man behind the counter smiled and shook his head as he chided the girl playfully for how she was letting herself be used by the dojo, and offered what was intended to be a friendly warning as she seemed now more a maid or wife to the place than a student. Everyone had chores there, but none were as responsible as Miss Edwards, it seemed.
“Ahahaha, it isn't much really?” Chuckling at the issue and stroking the back of her head as best she could with her arms laden, the black belle couldn't help but feels her cheeks warm a little at the idea of a proposal even if in jest, and then shook her head as she dismissed the work she'd been doing there as little other than simple duty, given the nature of her stay.
“It's the least I can do given how kind they've been?” Feeling that she owes the place a lot given how they've been letting her stay with them as she polishes up her craft a bit under expert tutelage, the dark eyes of the delight became a little misty as she remembered all those lessons and sessions with a shinai and the feeling of mirth therein, and shrugged as she affirmed a simple desire to repay that generosity the best way she could.
“Besides, I thought you already had a wife anyway~?” Smiling afterward and then narrowing her gaze a little when she also shows she's gotten rather used to the lay of the land already, and those in it even more so she thought, Ellie looked across and could already see the woman of this household seeming to be glaring at her beau for propositioning a pretty young girl like thus, and giggleds because of it, all the while sensing today is going to be a good one…
