The sea was choppy and grey, the sky partly clouded. The once sunny and brisk sea that had met them back in Kyuka had drastically changed as they left the summer island behind. They were headed to different, colder territory. Houma, the land of witches... a grim and dark land. It was tradition for the Grimm's at this point. For kings, queens, princes, and princesses to occasionally embark on a journey to Houma to seek guidance from the coven. His own father had done so and had sold him out for the very reason, being told that Klaus would eventually bring his demise.
Putting both his pale hands on the side of the ship, Klaus stared ahead. He let out a sigh and closed his eyes. There was exhaustion on his face, he just wanted to settle down already. Constantly being on the run was taking a toll on him. He wasn't a ruffian or a pirate. No he was a father and a noble. Meeting the witches in Houma and seeking their guidance would help. He was certain of that, they would guide him down the right path.
"How much longer before the meal is readied, Javier?"
The nobleman turned his head around, expecting his butler to be there. He usually wasn't one to push things like that, he believed himself a fair master after all. But they had guests to take care of so that changed things some. He furrowed his brow remembering Diango. Dare he ask? He let out another sigh and closed his eyes, rubbing the bridge of his nose with his fingertips.
"Oh and... how is Mr. Porchez doing?"
He asked, lifting his crimson eyes up to meet those of his butler.
