Despite his brave words and angry expression he couldn't help but to buck over and lean hard on the wooden pillar. Letting out a wheeze of pain he corrected his posture and clutched to his stomach, something was definitely wrong, an unusual amount of pain. He ignored it however, he couldn't let his own mistakes hold him down.
He couldn't take another step until hearing the large barging march of people coming from the lobby. The doors split into pieces from a flying axe, and through it came a sight he wouldn't forget. He widened his eyes, specially so when seeing Mina among the galloping march. But even if he wanted to turn around to catch her his body did not let him, so instead he felt the impact of her smacking right against his back, bending his body slightly from the overjoyed bat girl. He holds in his pained groan and leans back forward, sighing out and breathing heavily.
''T-there there girl..! I told you to stay away from these people! If you get caught again I won't forgive myself, so thats why I have to crush that ship, and that old hag!''
He explained and took notice of the butler, Diango gave a suspicious stare back, but his isntinct told him that he is with Mina, a protector. And then he began to dash towards the, alarming the lanky fishman.
''! Oy oy! They're not ordinary!''
But even with his late warning the butler got overwhelmed the flock of pigeons! The scene gave Diango a shiver, to get pecked that many times definitely would leave a mark. He looked behind him, Mina glancing up to him with her large beady eyes, the stare that told him he must do something, and something he did.
''Psh, dumb birds should go back to plucking leftover food from the ground!''
Approaching the butler and the flock of pigeons Diango rose his right arm, swinging it with all of his might and swiping at the flock, striking dead on a whole dozen and sending them flying with his impressive strength.
''Get off from him! Shoo shoo!''
While swinging his clenched fists at the birds he sent more and more flying into all directions, lowering their number until there were none. But the reckless actions left the beaten up fishman fall on his knees and breathe heavily.
''Ngh- please take care of them, I'll keep the young miss safe, even if it costs my life, got it?!''
He told the butler with strong words, his fist clenching up, even if they did not know eachother they definitely knew Mina was the top priority. Diango wanted to help with the fight, but all he could do was move at a fast walking speed, he has done his part. He rose back up and walked away from the granny and the horde of cats, trying to keep Mina as far away as possible.
