Mori laughed with joy. Shitei craned her neck in disappointment as if she’d expect for Wren to help fight the rampaging captain. Mori had found his second crewmate. Soon, he would have a legitimate pirate crew. The air settled and mingled with Mori. He told Shitei that she’d be in charge of rigging sails and keeping the ship clean. Meanwhile, Wren would take care of them if they grew ill. When another wave cracked on the boat’s hull, Mori took action. He dashed and caught Chopan by surprise. He launched a jab straight in the nose. As Chopan was sent flying backwards, Shitei was lugging the small chest of money to the ship.
She grabbed a few paint buckets, and two brushes, to hold in her hand and tail. Chopan shot a wind whipping kick, and it threatened to harm Mori. He dodged, leaving his tail like belt to shimmer in the wind. Shitei stroked his arms, holding paintbrushes drenched with paint. Chopan dropped his jaw, as he thought Mori was really a monkey. As he was piecing together what he had witnessed, Mori closed in. ”He has to be a monkey! He has a tail, and he talks to that monkey too!” Shitei hung from the mast and painted across the main sail.
”Kawa Kawa no…” Mori said as he lunged for the last attack. Hair extended from his backside, and cracked violently against Chopan’s face. Blood left his mouth and nose, as the impact slowed his reality. ”Whip!!!”
Chopan was blown away, his pants forced into his own mouth as Mori smashed him into unconsciousness. Mori remembered the pirates that rescued him, raised him, and died at his feet. He swore, on this island located in South Blue, that he, and the Tall Tail Pirates, would become the greatest pirates, in place of his role models. Mori turned to board his new ship, and Shitei was sitting on the figure head, wiping away sweat from her fur. The sail and a black flag was painted with a Jolly Roger. Its head had a monkey fur pattern and one of the bones was replaced with a tail.
