(OOC: Sorry for the crap post. Couldn't think of much build up to put in there and didn't want to truly start a fight without you.)
“Raijin?!” James exclaimed. He’d always assumed that his companion was the Raiki Hayate he’d heard so much about. Who on earth was this Raijin? The red eyed girl also seemed surprised. James looked at her eyes again. Was she also a Hayate? No, Raijin would have recognized her.
“My name is Irya. The captain of the Ice Wing.” The girl said. “Now then, why did you two bring this Raijin here?”
One of the guards began to nervously mutter. “Well umm, you see…” Irya sprang from her perch and struck hard at his chest. There was a loud crack as his sternum broke and he collapsed to the ground.
“If he forced you to do it you should have just told me.” She said. James looked surprised, both at Raijin for pulling off such a feat and for Irya’s powerful punch. “Don’t look so surprised. I made it very clear that they were to have 4 guards around you at all times. The fact that only two came meant something was up.”
James slowly started to build glue in his hands, he would definitely need it to fight this girl. To his surprise, the glue began to harden much faster than usual. The cold was freezing the glue. He needed to warm it up if he wanted to secure anything. Irya glanced his direction.
“Don’t even think about it sweetheart, this room stays at this temperature.” She said. Irya jumped back onto her seat and pulled out her flute. “You know what the men call me around here?” She said. “My nickname is the Ice Charmer, and let me show you why.” She began to play a sweet melody on her flute. James couldn’t quite place it but a sickening feeling came over him. He quickly clogged his ears with glue. He had a feeling it would be dangerous to listen to anymore of the song. He put up his fists and ran towards the girl. Raijin undoubtedly had someway out, and probably a plan of his own. This would be an interesting fight.
