"Yeah....that medical kit isn't going to help much since you probably broke a few ribs...but thanks...I guess" Ogatai said calmly as he turned to the girl, letting her take the kidnapper by the throat whilst he caught his breath and tried to put some of the medical kit to use. He could at least bandage himself up enough so that the wounds he received from crashing into what had remained of the bar weren't bleeding as badly now. He managed to cover himself well enough so that the bandages weren't too noticeable. He then turned around to see that the girl had begun to shake the kidnapper so hard that his neck seemed like it was made of rubber. His head bounced around like a ball and despite pleading for the girl to stop he soon coughed up all that he knew.
"The docks it is then..." Ogatai muttered as the girl hurled herself off the roof and sprinted towards the docks. If anything all the wounds he had caused her seemed to slow her down only a bit. It almost annoyed him as he realized her punch had probably slowed him down so much that he'd have a hard time using his techniques. In retrospective he wasn't sure he could blame her. She was obviously having a lot of trouble keeping up her own movements and it was all his fault. He sheathed his swords as he turned around, casually swinging a kick behind him. His heel hit the kidnapper straight on the jaw and the man tumbled over as if he had been hit by a battering ram. He wasn't dead but he was certainly going to take a nap.
Ogata took a running leap and jumped after the girl, gliding through the air for a few amazing seconds before his soles met the dirt that constituted the road and he was forced to race on. Despite his injuries he was still capable of speeds that any regular citizen of the world would have a hard time matching. The awkward thing was that he was having trouble keeping pace with the girl. She was not only obviously beautiful but probably stronger than any man he knew, save perhaps himself. He noticed that as he was running he was followed by his kinsmen. His brothers were near to him as was his father and his brothers. All in all there seemed to be a mass of shadows following him. He had no idea if it was because of his own focus to go to the girl's safety or if it was just their own desire but their faces were motionless and obviously their purpose was set before them. Ogatai knew that nobody else could see them but even he felt a bit of magnificence when he rushed down the street, followed by dozens of shadowy figures, pouring down the road like a tide of darkness.
He stopped next to the entrance to the docks, noticing an obvious ship filled with what looked like several dozen armed guards. As he arrived he could see the familiar club wielding fellow sitting on a chair at the very fore of the ship, as if nothing in the world could hurt him. Ogatai had quite a few things to settle with the huge man and nothing was going to get in his way now.
"The big fighter on the deck is mine, you can clear the peons....do not interfere in the fight....!" Ogatai shouted as he raced past the girl in an almost wingless flight, granted to him by the sudden burst of adrenalin and anger. The night wasn't quite over yet....
