'Maybe it was fate which pulled us to your beautiful self~'
What? B.'s red eyes widened in surprise at the response that came from none other than the very young York sitting before her. She even added a nice touch of sliding over her seat towards B. with what seemed to be meant as a seductive purr. However, instead, it became nothing more than an incredibly comical sight for the red haired girl and she couldn't stop the fits of laughter that poured out of her as the two companions seemed to fight over one thing or another. What? B. just couldn't help it!
As the last of the giggles subsided, it seemed to finally occur to her that there was another seat beside them that she could sit in and that her standing around the table like the stranger she was, was just causing them to attract attention. Setting down the groceries carefully around her seat, she decided to sit down, placing her elbows on the table and subtly massaging her shoulder causing the burning to subside.
'No, it's quite alright.' B. said in response to Lufe, though it was starting to become clear that although the apology was directed at her, it might not have been meant for her. Confused? That's quite alright for this post is going to continue without giving you a measly explanation of what that little piece of inception meant. It seemed like the two before her had a similar thought and ignored B, or perhaps they really didn't hear her, as they babbled on in their own conversation.
The young red head decided to simply continue watching the two, enjoying the pleasures of being free from the weight of her groceries. She had a feeling that she would have to make the feeling last because they would most likely be up and running again. Or maybe her, by herself, but as things were going it didn't seem to be going in such a direction. It seemed that she wasn't wrong either. Lufe got up from his seat, at last deciding to give into the young girls persistent slaps and whines.
'I guess you never really got a straight answer for your question little-miss.'
B. had already began to rush to her feet, even before the man profered her to follow with his hand OR said anything for that matter. She had too many groceries packed around her little seat to pick up and didn't want to make them wait for her. If anything, the set of words Lufe said only piqued her interests and motivated her to go faster actually allowing her to move in step with them, not at all left behind THIS time. Though, following these people around with these groceries was gradually seeming like it was a bad idea and she saddened upon the realization that she might have to seperate with them to simply set the groceries in her dinghy. She hoped instead that she could subtly insert herself into their (assumed) plight towards the grand line before much longer.

'Lufe! Did you not hear that, see that even?!'
'I'm trying to tell a story, York.'
B’s exasperation was followed by the sudden turn of her head as her eyes scoured the place around her, searching for whatever had made the noise. Despite her mind being distracted with the explosion, she continued to somewhat listen to Lufe until he was finally shut up, allowing her to put forth all of her focus towards the origin but that didn’t take very long. Already, a pillar of smoke had begun to rise over the city and the smell of something burnt was obvious on the wind to the point that those with sensitive noses would need to cringe. B., though, was quite used to the smell of something burning, but oddly enough it didn’t smell quite the same as her very own manufactured bombs.
‘The store…?’ B repeated, her head turning to give York a sideways glance. It was such a strange suggestion, why would anyone target a store they were in only moments ago. But upon turning her head back in the smokes direction, it stopped seeming like such a ridiculous idea. Now only did it seem to be coming from the right side of the street, but from the looks of it, it seemed to be the right amount of distance from them too. Even B. herself couldn’t refrain the nod of approval she made to signal that she herself liked the idea of heading by the store, before he began to continue what he was attempting to say.
“Hey, wait. Weren’t you saying something about the ship deciding where to go for you guys?” B announced. She was still distracted and began to walk at a slightly faster pace than even the huge giant beside her, her eyes staring forwards. But, she was still had a mind to multi task and she wanted him to finish what he was saying before. A ship deciding where to go just didn’t sound right. “Don’t you guys have like a navigator?” She questioned, picturing the girl they had mentioned earlier, who was waiting for them by the boat.
She didn’t stay behind to listen to a response for as soon as they came into sight of the flaming building, B skipped a few steps ahead of them and stood before the building in contemplation. The flame still had an odd stench that made it differ from any bomb she possessed, but this was no doubt the work of a bomb. The materials used to create the bomb was obviously nothing she herself ever thought to use, and for good reason too because this explosion seemed nothing more than an amateur job done to scare rather than afflict any real hard damage. It made her sick to see a job so poorly executed! Oh and uh against innocent people URG! But were there any truly innocent people?
“Of course they do! We didn’t get here in time to see much else!” B. complained, though it was a bit under her breath so if they didn’t hear it, it wouldn’t be that surprising for the young girl.
'You're welcome to tag along some more Miss Grand line, but I fear that's not where we're heading.. the opposite if my navigational skills are correct.'
‘Yea, yea, I’ll tag along.” B said, rather absent mindedly as she kept staring at the building but then her mind suddenly reeled and she realized what he had said. “Wait! What?! You guys aren’t going to the grand line?!” She exasperated, her mouth open in blatant shock and depression as she had turned her body to face the man’s retreating figure. What bad luck. She had followed these people everywhere to the point of complete fascination, and it turned out that they weren’t even going to the grand line. Might as well go with plan A and head there herself. How hard could it be with her dinghy? She was a good navigator, surely she could make it through to the other side without a problem!
For a moment, she simply stood there, deciding to look on at the burning building instead of follow the others. She decided to put some distance between the two of them before she set off for her own vessel not that far off. She could stand holding these groceries for awhile longer. Not like there was anything that needed to be kept cold anyways since a dinghy naturally had no refrigeration of any kind. The fact that she had been able to follow those two around for so long with such groceries just proved the allegation. That fact alone almost sounded good enough for another adventure with the groceries on finding the twerps to do this and beating them up with a good ol’ fashion explosion. But alas, she was tired and her fingers and arms were becoming tired even faster than before. It was time to leave this place for good.
Before she could act on such pleasure, a gun shot wrang through her ears and her head spun only to find that her friends from moments ago have found themselves into deep trouble. Marines surrounded them from all around, almost entrapping them, and a small tiny dark cloud spiraled upwards from one of the guns. But no matter how much B.’s intrinsic eyes studied the man, she saw no signs of blood shed nor heard any sounds of pain. In fact, she thought she heard the soft sound of something hitting metal, but it melded so well with the gunshot that she may not have realized it if she hadn’t recalled seeing the mans metallic arm earlier.
B. couldn’t help a smile as her eyes ran over his body and found something glinting in the sun, a small hole in his cloak. It seemed like being a cyborg had saved his life. However, that didn’t stop the fact that the other 75% of him was still flesh and he was still in major trouble with these authorities. At least York seemed to be exiting the circle out of danger. But why were they treating him like a criminal in the first place? Her eyes slightly widened as her eyes glanced at the now smoking building and back at the man. It didn’t take long for her to realize why and her gaze instantly hardened. Did they really believe that HE could create such a foul piece of work?... Well actually that may not be so surprising. But why would he even handle bombs? That was some retarded police work they had done! But with the pressing fight about to ensue, it was clear that a random young girl held down by groceries wasn’t going to help.
With a grunt of anger, she hurried to a nearby alley way and stowed the groceries where she thought that they would be well hidden from prying eyes. If they weren’t, well, she would go around hunting down whoever thought it was nice and dandy to steal a group of unattended bags and give whats coming! For now…
She ran back out of the alley way and glanced over at the man, already in the midst of a battle. Jesus. The guy couldn’t have been a pacifist for a while longer? She also thought she saw a few others enter the fight but that may have been her imagination. All she cared about right now was distracting the marines enough to allow the guy to get back to not going to the grandline stuff. You know, stuff like that. It didn’t seem like he needed that much help but she might as well help him out. She knew she could outrun these small fry, they were nothing like the ferocity that imprisoned her island. Plus, she was a pirate, kinda, so might as well develop a bad reputation with these guys too. It didn’t matter much to her. However, for coming up with this scheme, these people most certainly owed her.
Taking out a shuriken from her miraculously appearing back pack(sarcasm, I just forgot to type it in and never quite bothered), she threw it towards them in a way where it arced, barely hitting any of the marines, embedding itself in the side of a store. Instantly, a few marines seemed to come around and glance toward her. She perhaps even attracted other attention but her focus were the dweebs dressed in white.
“Hey you marines!!! Don’t give this IDIOT credit for something I obviously did!!!” She pronounced in a loud voice, placing her hands on her waist as marines who had the time to stared at her questioningly. What was she playing at, was probably the most popular thought running in their heads. It was disgusting. Even as she portrayed confidence in this confession, inside she was dying from admitting to such a putrid lie.
“Here, maybe I should give you a little reminder.” She said before taking out a circular object from her bag that gave off a yellowish hue and through it in the thrall. Those who had the sense to remember the destruction of the store stepped back, but others decided to amuse the girl in her petty games. Fifteen seconds passed and a flash of light erupted from the small circular disc, blinding those nearest the most, but those smart enough to step back looked on with shock.
“She is playing with us!!!” One screamed and in their anger, the majority of marines began to run towards her, some already shooting at her. That seemed like her cue to run. Running with all her force, she lead the a lot of the marines away from the docks AND her precious group of groceries. Today was going to be a long day, she thought before running down another road and digging through her bag for a shuriken to be at her whim before continuing running. Now to think up another bright idea.
