((OOC: Sorry for extreme lateness. Had no idea about the thread for a while))
Meanwhile, Haru was perched atop a roof. In the Wild West Style of Pecos Town, this elevated viewpoint provided not too much to see, as almost all the other buildings were the same size as it. The marine Commander could only see what was going on in the main streets, and that is to say, not too much. But of course that was to be expected. It's not like he expected the bad-guys to jump out into view with a sign saying "arrest me!". Nonetheless, Haru remained diligent.
He had seen the man with the spear, but without any sign of the marines on him Haru had missed his opportunity to introduce himself to his new captain. He had been transferred, across the Blues, to join the SHIELD division of marines. His famous scythe, Thanatos, glinted menacingly in the sunlight as he thought about all of this. He had in fact been on that same spot for two days. Bored as anything, with no one to fight.
Fortunately, then, that today was the day that things started to pick up.
“Calling units to Sector G-7S4 in Pecos Town, Calling units to Sector G-7S4 in Pecos Town”
A cry for help.
With a swift efficiency that was not often listed as part of his traits, Haru ran from rooftop to rooftop to the specified sector of the island. He was grinning like a wildman - the thought of fighting again gave him energy. Within five minutes he arrived, being perched on the same spot for two days certainly helped someone to remember the different lay outs. Haru's blue eyes darting around, searching for any trouble, he jumped down from the rooftops and continued his run on foot. Somewhere along these back alleys was a fellow marine in need of help. Taking a guess, Haru presumed that the officer in question couldn't be of too high a rank to request back up in a place like this. Of course, the Commander was basing this on nothing more than the fact that he hadn't seen anything, so in his mind, there was not huge threat.
If only he knew how wrong he was.
"Sir, you need to get your weapons. I was surveying the area from above and saw that a number of marines were converging on this location. I shall keep them at bay while you prepare."
Haru's head instantly flicked to the left. He duly turned, and a horrific scene splayed out before his eyes. There were two men, both towering much taller than himself. Standing insignificantly between them was a man, whom Haru assumed to be the marine. The men were chatting! How...how...how outrageous! No marine should stand there and be ridiculed like that! Go down in a blaze of flames! Fight to the end! That was the way of Haru, and it was that that had earned him the epithet of "Reaper of Justice".
I'll have to show him how it's done
Silently, Haru stalked the second man as the first one made his way off somewhere. Gripping Thanatos tightly, the marine Commander prepared to strike.
"Kuro!"
The cry rang out, breaking the silence that had previously reigned sovereign. Haru swung at the man's legs, hoping to impale them in such a way that he would be rendered useless. Like a butcher, Haru was taking all the cuts.
