Kuro waited a moment for the door to open, the main before him was not his smith. The Martial Arts master, Fon du was an old man but even a normal thug could tell he was a great Master and not to be taken lightly. Perhaps he was a friend of his blacksmith and could tell him where the man had moved to? Before he could ask however the same man from before arrived up the stairs. obviously pissed off, it seemed that he wouldn't be getting rid of his or his companion's company anytime soon.
"Generally you introduce yourself before asking someone else's name." He pointed out flatly but added after a moment to both parties, "I'm Kuro, I'm looking for the blacksmith that used to live here, do you know him?" The Feline-like man asked. In a way answering Jack's question about his broken sword at the same time. The Old Man gave a nod, then saw the other young man, Memo, arrive. Memo asked him for training and the old man stroked his long beard in thought.
He could see the tension between the three and nodded. "I can teach you, but it will not be easy." He told Memo, then looked back at Kuro and Jack. "And I have a bit of a condition. You must also train with us Kuro Kun. Until you've all learned one move. Then I will disclose to you the location of the man you seek." The old man stated. The hatred between Jack and Kuro would make it more challenging for them to work together. The old man knew this and plan to use this to make them stronger, for if they could over come this trial and work together they were truly worthy of his secrets.
Needless to say, Kuro wasn't particularly happy with the idea but knew he'd be searching for years otherwise. His particular Smith was not easy to find if he didn't want to be found and he trusted no one else with his cat claws. "...Fine." Kuro breathed with a note of agitation, agreeing to the terms.
